#5 The Band and The Announcement

~*Galaxy's POV*~

When school ended, Skyler, Rose, Jon, and I started to walk to our houses. We all lived near each other so we all walked the same way. We all started to tell jokes, funny stories, and horrible puns to each other. One by one, we started to leave to our homes, until Jon and I were left alone. We both were close neighbors so we were always the last ones to go home.

"Hey Galaxy?" Jon asked me.

"Yeah?" I replied.

"I was just wondering, what did Grey say to you when you both were under that tree? It's okay to not answer, I was just wondering what he said." Jon explained, blushing very lightly.

"Oh, it's okay for me to talk. Well, he started explaining about making a club together. At first I wasn't as worried, until he spread the details. He started to talk about how the club would go. He said that it would be called the 'Take Over' club. I was so confused of what it meant. He said that we will get together powerful people/students in our club. Then we would use those people to take down other clubs. I was getting a little shaky as he kept talking. He said that if we get enough power, we could take over the school, then the world. I tried to get some reasoning into him, but he wouldn't listen. He just kept going and going on and on about how this would work. Then he started saying that he would be the king and I would be his queen. I was so shocked at that point that I didn't know what to do. He grabbed my hand, which made me blush a little, and started to try and make me join his plan. I pushed him off and he was going to use his ice magic to freeze me and keep me to his side, until you came along and saved my life. I also want to thank you for that." I explained, as his eyes got more and more widened the more I spoke.

"Oh uh...no problem!" Jon said blushing slightly.

  We kept talking until we got to my house. I walked up the steps and waved goodbye to Jon. I walked inside and threw my backpack on the couch as I went into the kitchen to get a snack.

    After I ate my snack and did my homework, I decided to continue reading the 'Lost Magic' book. I came across some galaxy magic that was lost about 200 years ago.  I didn't understand why galaxy magic has been lost for a long time, when I am a galaxy mage myself. It didn't make any sense to me, but I continued on studying the magic.

    Later after I finished some galaxy magic, I had some time left to cook myself a meal, take a shower, and fall asleep.

   In the morning, I woke up to the sound of the wind making the branches hit my window. I woke up 15 minutes earlier than usual, so I took that time to get ready and go to school earlier. Once I got there, there wasn't as many students as there normally would be in the locker hallway. Since I had my stuff already with me, I decided to walked along the hallways to see where everyone had gone to.

   After searching and searching, I finally found everyone in the cafeteria, gathered in a big circle group looking at something. I got closer to get a better view, and couldn't see anything from people's heads. I grabbed a chair and slightly stood on it, but enough as the people couldn't see me, and went to see what was going on.

   I saw these group of guys wearing black vests with band instruments in their hands. There were 5 guys total.  One had drum sticks, one had a guitar, one had a big keyboard set up next to him, one had the base, and the last one had a microphone in his hand, which probably meant he was the lead singer. The boy with drum sticks had dark blue hair, the one with a guitar had dark red hair, the one with a keyboard had black hair, the one with the base had orange-ish hair, and the lead singer had blond hair. I noticed that Skyler was in the group staring. I walked up to her and asked what was going on.

"Hey Skyler!" I greeted.

"Oh, hey Galaxy!" She responded back.

"Do you know what's going on?"

"Well, these boys are a famous group band in our school. They're called 'The Rockers'. They don't come here very often because of their tight schedule of many concerts. All of the girls at this school fall for every boy at this band." After Skyler talked, the lead singer of the group, stared at me.

"Hey." He said, slowly walking over to me.

"Oh, uh Hi" I responded, I little nervous.

"I like your cat ears and tail! Their pretty cool!" He said while flipping his hair back. "I don't think I've seen you around this school before? Are you new?"

"Well, yeah." I replied, as Skyler whispered to my ear and said,"He liiiiiiiiikes you"
It was quiet enough for him not to hear.

"Cool! I guess you haven't met the band yet, have you?"

"Nope, not yet." I replied, putting a piece of loose hair behind my ear.

"Well, we can introduce you to us, since you haven't met us."

"Ok, sure!" I said

"First off, I'm Justin, the lead singer. The drummer is Jacob, the guy over at the keyboard is Max, the guitarist is Michael, and the base is Warren." When he announced their names they either said Hi or waved at me. The bell rang right after so we had to rush to class.

"See ya Later! Oh wait!" Justin yelled at me. I stopped running to hear what he was going to say. "I didn't catch your name!"

"It's Galaxy!!" I yelled as I continued to run. Just before I knew it, I got to class just in time.

    There were announcements they would say on the speaker in the morning. They started doing their normal speaking, until something exciting came up.

"There will be a school party/dance in three weeks for all of the grades. There will be a sign up sheet for volunteers to help set up the party. We would like all of the help we can get to get this party set up." one of the student council people said.

    Everyone was screaming and jumping up and down from excitement. They were all happy to have this party to get a break from testing. I, too was jumping and screaming because of going to my first school party. At my previous schools, they would have school parties, I would try to get in, however they would never let me because they thought I was wearing fake cat ears and tail and that wasn't allowed at the school parties.
   But this time, I was ready to get to this party!!
