(Alright I have no ideawhat wattpads problem is. But considering in my open office documenteverything is spaced out and there is next to no space issues orparagraph jumps. I don't understand why Wattpad is changing that. Itnever happened before as I was using the same program before I gotthis new Laptop. So I'm sorry for the horrible mess but I can assureyou that is not what happened in my document. I'm not this bad.)

Alexai's POV

We all sat in our classfor a few minutes after we realised what was at stake. Even though weall barely knew what we were doing here.

Simon: "Alright come onguys. Creal is up next. Hopefully she can tell us some more aboutwhat's going on."

We slowly got up and outof our seat. Though I couldn't help but move slower then the rest ofthem. So much was on the line with this school now. I see why Ihadn't heard anything about it though. This also means that moststudents here have had to kick someone out. It's a horrible thing tothink about.

Preston: "Alex are youok?"

Alex: "No. I'm notPreston. If that's what happens to students who don't pass. Then Ihope I never have to be put into that position. I don't want to kicksomeone out. What if they have such amazing abilities that can beutilised in the world? We are damn near signing a death warrant onthese people."

Preston: "Alex you can'tthink about that."

Alex: "What about you?You can fucking summon beasts and entities to help you and that'sgreat. But what if you get kicked out now. Your done. That's it."

Preston: "I wouldn't beas angry as anyone else. I've spent most of my life without magic. Ican move on and live with it If I lost them."

I didn't realise that hehad his hand in my own while we walked. Lachlan was ahead of us withJosh and Peyton. While Maura stayed next to us. Peyton was watchingus intently. I know she didn't like me at first. I think she was moreintimidated by me.

Maura: "Alex you get useto it. It's a live or die situation in a sense. Either you make itthrough and keep training until you get to the point where you can bewho you want to be and do whatever you want. But then youressentially fighting for that. That's what they want you to do. Theywant you to prove to them you deserve to be at this school. Lookaround this place. Thousands of students are here. And Thousands ofstudents leave each year. Whether through the end of year trials orJust leaving before hand. The ones that leave know for a fact thatthey will fail and want to just get it over and done with."

Alex: "But I don't getwhy they would do that though. We could do so much to help the worldin many ways. And we are just going to watch it burn and only helpourselves. Because that is what it sounds like."

Maura: "Yeah. Basicallythat's how it works. In a sense we look after ourselves. You willlearn why eventually but you need to calm down and think this throughlogically."

I stopped moving and keptmy head down. Preston put his arms around me and held me tight. Ihated to think about it. I didn't want to be the reason someone gotkicked out of this school. I couldn't do it.

Lachlan: "Come on Alex.You need to breathe. We can go into class and ask Mr Creal to show uswhat goes down. Then we can go and see Bryne."
