Faith stumbled backwards, dropping the paper. It was some practical joke, some twisted sick prank her friends had been playing on her. It had to be.

Before she could give it much thought she herd leafs crumbling. Someone was behind her! Fear sparked in her once more, as she began to turn around. Before she could she was roughly shoved forward, and her head hit the side of the barn as she fell down to the ground unconscious.

Hugo Dumas, and his son Nicholas stood over Faiths body in the pouring rain. "Was the shove actually necessary?" Nicholas asked as he Crouched down to turn Faiths body upward so they both could get a better look at her.

She was soaking wet, her clothes wore torn, and covered with mud and leafs along with her hair. Bruises and cuts covered her entire body. She had been through hell.

His father gave him a Stern look. "You know very well what she is son, it's better to catch there kind by Suprise."

"I'm not afraid of a fight." Nicholas said.

"You Never are" his father responded with a smile. "Still, you should not take risks when not needed."

Nicholas shrugged, he found it hard to believe that this helpless girl could be like any of the cruel creatures they'd encountered. "Well son, are we to stand in the storm all night?" Hugo asked.

Instead of responding, Nicholas simply bent down, and lifted Faith up into his arms, her limp body folding into his.

Faith once again awakened. She hoped for the briefest of moments that she would be In her bed. Her father would be shouting up at her any moment to come down. She'd roll over in bed and yawn, only getting up when she smelled the pancakes. To her disappointment that hadn't been the case. No, instead she awoke on the floor of a dark, cold, and nearly flooded dungeon. The smell was unbearable to her, almost similar to rotten carpet, but so much worse.  Her entire body hurt as she sat up. Her head began to pond. her hand went up and she felt a large gash on her forehead. She just now noticed that she had been shivering. It was incredibly cold and she had been laying in a puddle of water. She glanced out the window and noticed that it was still storming badly. 'How could Someome possibly get attacked three times in one day' she thought, feeling hopeless.

"She's up." A voice said from across the room, and she instinctively crawled backwards against the wall. "It's about time." A much older, and deeper voice responded.

"For a she demon shes quite frightened." The younger voice said to the other man, in almost a sarcastic manner as he put his hands on the bars. She couldn't make out what he looked like due to the complete darkness.

She realized that the dungeon was designed so that the light of the Moon only allowed them to see her but not vice versa. She would of thought it Cleaver if she wasn't the one behind the bars of it herself.
She also realized that she must of looked pathetic to them, who ever they were.

She couldn't help but snort at the word "She demon".

"I'm sorry, do you find this amusing?" She heard the older voice ask, as he  stepped next to the other man.

She didn't answer, she didn't know how to answer. She didn't even know what she was doing here, or where "here" was, let alone why she were in prison. She stood up, wincing in pain as she did. "What do you want?" She asked the men as she braced herself agenst the cold dungeon wall. "Why did you bring me here?"

Unknown to her both men shared a look, One dutiful, the other determined.

"Isn't it obviously witch?" Hugo asked before Nicholas pulled him to the side.
