The sun shined in on Faiths room, and she shifted uncomfortably. Compared to her queen plush mattress at home, this bed felt like  sleeping on rocks. You were a Girl Scout for crying out loud! Toughen up! She thought.
She lifted the blankets off of her and stood up. Last night she changed out of her shorts, and torn Tshit, and into one of Clare's white baggy sleeping dresses. She walked to the bathroom (if you could call it that.) There was no actual bathroom, more of just a room with a porcelain bath tub in it. The outhouse was outside, and Faith thought it was incredibly gross.

She smiled when she noticed that the tub was filled with steaming hot water. "Your welcome." Clare said peeking her head into Faiths room. "I also took the Liberty of laying out some clothes for you on your bed." She said as she shut the bedroom door, leaving Faith alone.

She lifted her nightgown over her head before stepping into the tub. She winced in pain as the water touched the cuts on her skin. After awile the pain went away, and she relaxed.

Eventually the water went cold. She reached over, and grabbed a Towle from the rack, then placed it around herself. She walked over to the bed, and looked over the items that Clare had layed out for her. There was a bright red skirt, along with a dark brown corset layed out. To the side of it was a long black cloak folded up neatly. After drying off she placed on her new undergarments, then her skirt. She looked down in cunfusion to the brown corset. Eventually she called out to Clare who immediately came running up the stairs to her room.

"I'm not even going to pretend I know how to put this on?" Faith said in defeating as Clare came through the door.  She smiled, then took the corset out of her hands. "Don't worry, nether did I." She said truthfully as she motioned for Faith to turn around. Clare rapped the corset around faiths body, then started to tug the strings on the back to tighten it. "I can't breath." Faith said out of breath when Clare finished. "Thats how you know when it's on right." Clare said as she stepped back to look faith over. "Wow, you look better in it then I do." Clare said. Faith rolled her eyes. Clare was perfection in Faiths eyes. One of those supermodels you see in all those magazines, but never in real life. She was a perfect 10.

"Ann's making breakfast." Clare said as she left the room.

Faith smiled. She still couldn't believe that she would walk downstairs and see her mother cooking her meals, serving her breakfast with that heavenly smile of hers. Faith dashed for the door, and ran downstairs like a child. As she made it downstairs she heard a knock on the main door. She looked back to the kitchen but no one but her seemed to hear the light knocking. She cautiously walked to the door, and pulled it open. Her jaw practically fell to the floor. She regretted opening the door immediately when she saw the two psychopaths who locked her in the dungeon, then placed her on trial. "They are hunters" She remembered Clare saying as a lump in her throat formed. They have found her out, and have came to finish the job, she thought.

She began to slam the door shut, but Hugo snached it and held it open at a incredible speed.
"Easy girl," he said as he let go of the door and placed his hands up in surrender. "We mean you no harm." He said, and she unintentionally snorted. "I'm sure." She said as she shot both men daggers with her eyes. "Alow me to introduced ourselfs," Hugo said. "My name is Hugo Dumas, and this is my son Nicholas." He said as he pointed to the younger man next to him.

"We want to apologize." Nicholas said, stepping forward. "For what exactly?" She said sarcastically.  "Knocking me unconscious? Locking  me in a dungeon? Or placing me on a trial that could've resulted in my death?" She questioned.

Nicholas smiled, amused by her sarcasm, and she only grew angrier at him. She wanted to slap that smug smile right off of him. Hugo stepped in between them. "Now now, let's put this little issue in the past shale we? It was a honest mistake."

Faith turned to hugo. "Honest mistake?" She questioned angerly. She shook her head. "Bumping into someone is a honest mistake.. almost getting them killed is not, so you can take that apology and shove it up your...."

"Gentleman," Ann interrupted. "What a surprise." She said with a smile as she gave faith a waring look. "As you can see my daughter is still very shaken up about yesterday's events." "Of corse." Hugo said as he took Ann's hand, and placed a kiss on it. Faith felt like vomiting, and Nicholas noticed her discomfort. He tilted his head, and the conner of his lips pulled bsck into a smile. 'Asshole' Faith thought.

"We came to give our deepest apologies to the girl." Hugo stated.

Faith glared at him. The nerve!, she thought. "The girl has a name," she stated crossing her arms. Ann glared at her. "I apologize, I'm sure you know how moody children her age can be." Hugo laughed it off, but to Faith it sounded forced. He then glanced over to his son. "Oh, definitely." He said, before taking a more serious tone. "Anyway, The reason for our visit is to invite you, and your family over for dinner. We would like to express how terribly sorry we are."

"What a lovey gesture!" Ann said, as she smiled up at him. Kiss ass, faith thought. "This was all just a huge misunderstanding. We are very thankful that you two are keeping our village safe. We will see you tonight" She said sweetly before they turned to leave, and she shut the door.

"Mother!" Faith said angerly. "How could you be so nice to them after what they have done? Do you have any idea what they put me though?" She said in disbelief. "Like hell I am going to sit at a table with those to pigs!"

"Calm down!" Ann said harshly.

"This is bigger then your anger." Clare said coming out of the kitchen. She had been listening to the conversation from behind the door.  "They are hunters faith.. do you really want to be on there bad side? Do you want to give them any more reasons to look into us feather? Be smart about this." She said.

Faith sighed. "I'm sorry, I'm not a people person to begin with. They just infuriate me."

"I know, and that's natural." Ann said, placing a hand on Faiths. "But this is our life now. We have to think about the bigger picture, ok?"

"Ok, but I don't have to like it." She said defensely. "They are such smugs."

"Come on honey, let's eat breakfast. Afterwards we are going to take a trip to visit a good friend of mine." Ann said as she made her way to the kitchen.

"Friend?" Faith asked as she followed her. "What friend?"

Ann turned. "A fellow Witch. She is apart of our coven now."

"Coven? We have a coven?" She asked once inside the kitchen.

"Yes, but it's only the three of us." Ann stated, pointing at Clare, and herself. "We are going to introduce you to her, and if she agrees you'll become part of the coven to."
