Chapter 23

I looked back at Nicklaus , still In my arms he slowly falls to his side on the ground ,I scream at the sight of a arrow that pierced his back ..

"Nicklaus !! "

I scream as I bend down to where he is

Just then the barn door opens and I see Hugo standing there with a confused look on his face then I realize he was aiming at me not Nicklaus I stand up and face him and say

"I swear if you don't leave slamming against a tree will feel like a joy ride compared to what ill do to you next!"

I threatened with more menace in my voice then iv ever experienced.

He looked at Nicklaus then at me then slowly started backing out of the barn I bent down by Nicklaus again he looked as if he was passing out.

"No you can't sleep you have to stay awake"

He looked up at me and nodded I tried picking him up on his feet but he screamed in pain he could not move unless I pulled the arrow out

"Nicklaus I am going to try and take the arrow out ok"

He looked like he wanted to say something but he could not

I grabbed it slowly and tried pulling it out but I could not ,it was pretty much almost all the way in he looked up at me like he was trying to say it's ok to give up I looked down and grabbed his hand

"Your going to have to trust me "

I had to try to use my power to take it out fast I need to get him back to my mom ,she could heal him but I can't go with out taking the arrow out

I looked at the arrow and tried to do what I did when Hugo fell against that tree but nothing happened I tried about 3-4 times and still nothing

I let go of his hand and stood up I turned around and walked about 7 feet away from him I put my hand out to where the arrow was and swung into the air..

And with that the arrow pulled out of him just as fast as it went in, then I heard him scream out in pain again ,I rushed over to him and placed my hands around his waist pulling him up so he was standing then I wrapped his arm around my shoulders and we started walking out of the barn

"Why are you doing this" he asked dazed

"I am trying to prove my point"

He just kept looking at me like he was amazed that I was helping him , walking up the steps was really hard and I could barely get him up there , I was only carrying about half of his Weight but I am only 5"2 and he is 5"7 so I think you get the point

I opened the door and yelled

"Mom , Clare come quick I need your help hurry"

They both came ruining in and where shocked to see Nicklaus with blood all over him , they took him away from me and put him on the nearby bed that belonged to Clare

"What the hell happened?"my mother screamed

"No time just please mom heal him"

She looked at him then at me then pulled me out of the room

"Faith have you lost your mind he is awake he could of heard you" even if I could heal him he will know what I am! "

"Mom this is not the time, please??"

I begged

She ran back in there and Clare had already removed his shirt so we could see where the Arrow want to she put her hands and nothing happends she looks at me with a face like she just realized something She gets up at walks to me
