Chapter 21

Nicklaus POV (point of view)

I look down at my hand in hers and see a shocked but adorable smile on her face.

Just then I here a scream,a womens scream, she jumps up and she says

"I'm going to see what that was just stay here ill be back"

She lets go of my hand and runs of I think it's quite funny how she thinks I am not going to go after her what kind of man lets a lady go running of in the woods alone

I get up and start running after her I can barely see her

"Faith wait for me"

I yelled across the woods

I don't think she could her me, i kept on running after her for quite some time, next thing I know I tripped and I felt I serge of pain go to my ankle and I fell on the ground I backed up and leaned my back against a nearby tree

I and looked at my ankle ...I think I twisted it, it hurt a lot but I had to go after faith I guess I'll just have to walk it off I thought to myself then I heard that women's scream again.

"Let me go now !!"

Could that be faith ??

I got up and run almost forgetting about the pain , then I seen my dad from far away I run up closer, he was talking to Faith, I could barley make out what they where saying.

"Let her go! " Faith cried out.

My dad looked confused and then said

"Miss Faith this is not what it looks like this women is evil now please leave and let me do my job!"

I tried running over there but it hurt so I slowly started walking towards them.

The woman screamed again.

"Enough" then he hit the small blonde woman on the side of the face.

My father must think her a witch, for he would never bring violence upon a woman.

I was now about 20 feet away, still limping towards them, I had a side view, I saw the side of Faiths face, she looked angry, really angry then, much to my disbelief I witnessed a force field surge from her eyes, it hit my fathers body with such force that he crashed against a tree, and was knocked unconscious!

I could not believe what I had seen!

It cannot believe it!!

she can't be a witch??

She's not evil or at least I thought she was not, obviously this was a trick from her and all the other witches to catch me and my father off guard and apparently it had worked!

I stood up and walked over there fast forgetting about the Pain in my ankle again, she's going to burn for what she had done to my father and so was that accomplice of hers!

She turned around and looked at me, I could tell she had fear in her eyes then she bent down by him and I could not see what she was doing to him.

"Get the hell away from my father!"

I cried as i looked at her full of hatred!

"It's not what..

"Shut up witch.. "

I did not want to hear any more of her lies, I already seen all I need to know.

"We should of burned you the first time but you know what they say if you don't succeed try again"

Wow, I surprised myself with how menacing that sounded!

She just took off running, so did the other witch I turned to my father and picked him off the ground and took him home and laid him in bed he did not look that bad he will wake up soon , we heal twice as fast as a normal person, it's one of the advantages of being a hunter.

I sat down next to him and looked at him just laying there,

She could of killed him!!

That's it,I am going after her and that other witch and I guess her sister to since she is most likely a witch as well!

I got up and grabbed belt, sliding my sword into it's sheath.

Walked out the door got bridle out of the Barnard put in on my horse, Pepper.

Not bothering to Saddle her since I was in such a rush, and I rode quite well bareback anyways.

I jump on and rode off about 20 minutes later I was at the end of the witches farm.

tied Pepper to the fence post and walked to the house.

That's when I seen faith walking out of the farm house and to the barn she was truly beautiful with her long black hair with golden blonde streaks hanging over her shoulders, then I remember what she is and think that shes a waste of such beauty.

As soon as she's in the barn I run to the the door and see her standing there with her back turned at me.

she's grabbing something with her hands and I move right behind her and she stands up and turns around and looks at me, surprised i pull out my sword from my sheath I look right at her and say

"Going somewhere witch"
