Laura's point of view.

While the boys are out, I feel suddenly bored. I trudge into Rydel's room and collapse on her bed while she fiddles with her computer.

"What's up, buttercup?" Rydel asks and I roll onto my back and stare at the ceiling, a sigh leaving my lips.

"I'm bored. Ross and Rick are out bonding." I mumble and Rydel seems to perk up at that.

"Ross is voluntarily bonding with your brother?" She asks me and I nod. She squeals. "This is great!"

"Why?" I ask.

"Because that must mean Ross is serious about you, girly." She smiles, standing up and walking towards me. She sits beside me and I sit up in respect.

"He asked me to be his girlfriend this morning." I play with my thumbs as a smile rises on my face.

"Was that before or after the two of you frickle frackled?" She pokes my cheek and my face instantly heats up.

"You heard that?" I screech and she laughs.

"Sweetie, the whole house heard it." She says all matter-of-factly. I cover my face with my hands and groan loudly. "Yeah, sorta like that!" I push her lightly.

"How embarrassing," I mutter.

"Nah, it's fine. Ross hasn't had sex since he was fifteen so Riker got a little excited for him." She says and I pull a face at her.

"Is that suppose to make me feel better?" I ask, laughing lightly. She shrugs.

"Hey Laura?" I look at Rydel and her expression grows serious. "Do you love Ross?"

"Of course I do." I say softly. "I don't know what I'd do without him."

"Good," she smiles at me. "Because your brother is right, I think you two will end up getting married."

I groan even louder than before and push her completely off the bed. She lands with a thud and we both laugh it off.

***

"Where are you taking me?" I laugh as Ross leads me somewhere, his hand covering my eyes. The second the boys got home, Ross was demanding Rydel to 'glam me up' witching half an hour. He was rushing around the entire half hour and when I was standing by the front door in a skin-tight red dress, black heels and my hair curled in a beautiful bun, Ross came down the running down the stairs in a black button up shirt and dress pants. I was surprised and I had no idea what was going on.

But now I understand as he uncovers my face to reveal a rooftop dinner. My mouth drops open and I look up at Ross who stands there smiling down at me. The wind hits my exposed skin lightly and the setting is completely perfect.

"Now I know we already went on that scheduled date, but I just loved it so much that I thought we should go on another one." Ross stammers as he leads me to the table. He pulls out the seat for me and pushes it in once I sit down.

"Ross, we're dating now. If you want to go on a date, just say it." I say and his face turns a light shade of red. I smile warmly at him.

A tall man in a penguin suit and a slim moustache walks out with a notepad and asks us for our order. Ross narrows his eyes at the man and the man cracks a smile. He walks away and I furrow my eyebrows at him.

"What was that?" I ask and Ross shakes his head.

"It was just Philip. He knows what's suppose to happen tonight but he was just messing around." He plays with the fork on the table. I reach my hand over to his and squeeze his hand, offering him a reassuring smile.

"Ross, it's okay. Don't be so nervous." I whisper and he smiles at me. What an adorable dork.

"I love you," he says to me and this time I blush.

"I love you too."
