A lot of the stuff you find on Wattpad giving writing advice is from people that don't know what they're talking about. They copy what they saw from other writing help books or state the obvious. I have a degree in creative writing and English. I've been writing ever since I was a kid, crafting stories on computer paper, stapled together at the corners.
The following is based on my experience as a novelist and what I've learned from English and creative writing classes. I hope you can learn from my years of trial and error.
