Your POV
You had spent the night at Vincent's house. You walked to the kitchen and saw him pacing back and forth, looking at the floor, his hand over his mouth.

"Is something wrong?" You ask him. He looks up at you and gave you one of his heart warming smiles.

"Nothing that you need to worry about." He says, kissing the top of your head. You grin back at him and walked back into the living room. You weren't going take that as an answer. You are plopped down on the couch an thought of a way to make him tell you. You are good at the type of thing. Once you convinced your ex into telling what he got for your anniversary. It didn't matter anymore. You had burned it the day you found out he was cheating on you.

Vincent came and sat next to on the couch. An awkward silence hung in the air. You were going to say something but stopped yourself. You simply lay on his chest and kept thinking. You felt him shift a lot. His heart was beating fast.

After a little bit you stand up and grab your scarf and wrapped it around your neck. He looked at you and asked, "We're are you going?"

"Out and about"

"Why?"

"Because why not"

Silence fell again as you stared at each other. He finally shrugged and got up. Your plan was working. The first step: Go outside and make him super happy, had taken action.
