Vincent's POV
I jolted awake to find y/n still sound asleep. I need to get to work. I kiss her forehead and quietly got up. She shifted and I froze. Please don't wake up princess. Then she was still. I couldn't help but smile.
I hurried out the door, I couldn't afford to be late again. I left a note for y/n, so she didn't worry. I hopped in my car and sped down the road. All the while my thoughts raced.
What if she finds out what I've done. That is the only thing I'm worried about.
When I pulled into the work, on time thankfully, I rushed into the building. Fighting with my keys and such. First one here. Nice.
I sighed and looked at the animatronics. Chica turned her head jerkingly to me. All of my worry slowly faded. I smiled at her. Her beak opened like she was trying to say something.
"Ah ah. Save your voice for the party." I walked back into my office. I sighed as I clipped on my name tag. I looked in the window reflection. I always felt different when I was in this building. When I put on this name tag I'm not Vincent.
I looked over at the costume hanging in the corner. The golden rabbit with a purple vest and bow tie.
"Not yet buddy. The party is this afternoon."
I walked back into the dining hall to find Jeremy now arriving. I nodded at him and he returned. I glanced back at Chica, and she was back to her original state.
"Ready for this party Jeremy?" I asked him as I straightened up chairs.
"Ready as I'll ever be. Hey, William?"
I looked up.
"Do you smell that?"
"Smell what exactly?" I felt a bit of worry rise.
"I dunno but it just stinks. Like something rotting."
I looked around. Hoping to find something to blame it on. I walked over to the ball pit. Find something, before he starts looking too. Suddenly a whiff of something horrendous hit me. I shuddered and looked at the ball pit.
"Oh god. Who vomited in the ball bit and left? That's so raunchy. Jeremy! Get over her and smell this!" I joked and gagged.
Jeremy chuckled and shook his head. "I'm good thanks."
"Well your gonna have to clean this up anyway so might as well get over here."
"What, no. Make Scott do it." Jeremy replied frantically. Scott walked in as soon as he said it.
"What am I doing?" He said approaching me.
"Cleaning this shit up. Get to it." I told him, waving my hand over the ball pit. He opened his mouth to protest, but I gave him a blank stare. He quickly shut his mouth as went to get the cleaning supplies.
I walked to the show stage. Time to power these bad boys on. I climbed on the stage to Bonnie. I turned him on and his servos whirred. He began moving all of his joints. Everything seemed normal. I did the same for Freddy.
I stepped to Chica and her eyes flicked open and stared right into me. I paused. Should I risk touching her, or even getting that close.
"Jeremy." I called. Chica closed her eyes as he came closer. I stepped out of the way. "I want you to turn her on." I said. He gave me a confused look and I sighed. I gave him the instructions.
Chica was acting like her animatronic self again. Finally. I smacked Jeremy on the back for a job well done and hopped off the stage.
"Party starts at 12. Be ready."
Y/n's pov
You woke up and Vincent was gone. You looked around and found a note.
Hey baby, I went to work. I'll be back around five. Love you.
You wonder what he does at work. What were you suppose to do all day.
"I don't see any reason I can't bring him a surprise lunch." You said as you sprung up off the couch. You got to the kitchen and started on the lunch.
~At 12~
Vincent's POV
It was time for the party. I smiled and slipped into the rabbit costume. Here we go again. I stepped out of my office and heard the children coming in. The children were jumping and screaming.
I walked down the hall, still hidden in the shadows. The animatronics were playing their song. Chica spotted me and stared at me while she performed. She can't stop me. I smiled bigger behind the mask. I spotted a kid sitting aside from everyone. That's the one.
As I went to approach the kid, I heard the door open. I turned to the door and.... oh god. What is y/n doing here? Shit.
"Hey is Vincent here?" I heard her say. Scott looked confused by her question. I slunk back away from the children. I crept along the back of the room, staying out of sight.
"No one works here with that-" I stopped Scott by placing my hand on his shoulder. He looked back at me and back at her.
"Do you know her?" He asked. I sighed. I motioned Scott to go away. Y/N looked at me confused.
"Do you know where Vi-" I covered her mouth with my hand.
"Ssssh"
I grabbed her arm and pulled her to my office. She was a little reluctant, but she followed. I shut my office door and turned to her with my hands on my hips. I had an annoyed look on my face, but she couldn't see that.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I'm sorry, what? I can't hear you."
I pulled off the mask and set it on my desk. Y/n looked at me with shock. I looked at her with annoyance.
"What are you doing here y/n?" I asked again pinching the bridge of my nose. She opened her mouth to say something but stopped. I gave her a look to continue.
"I brought you lunch." She said extending her hand to reveal a bag. I took it and looked inside. My heart melted. All the annoyance I felt was gone. I set the lunch on my desk and stepped closer to her.
"Thank you baby. I will eat it later." I said as I gave her a hug. She lightly returned the hug. I kissed her cheek and squeezed her shoulders. She smiled at me and I smiled back. I felt her relax.
"Now get going. I have a party to entertain." I said. Y/N nodded and began to leave. I felt my work self return.
"Y/n, one last thing," I called out to her. She turned back. "Don't come to my work again." I said with a cold look. She opened her mouth to say something but stopped. She closed the door lightly then left.
I sighed and slipped the mask back on. It's show time.
