It was 1 day before Judgement Day that I received Chiller. There was a lightning storm brewing in Alaska which was rare but before I could get inside shelter, I got struck...

"What a blast... Of lightning! heh heh heh." I thought when I woke up. I gave a groan and opened my eyes. There was a huge gap in the ice, and I could hear the stomp of feet around me. I sat up and the face of a creature was bumped into me and I fell back down when I finally actually tried to take a proper look at it, I gasped.

I've heard legends of mythical creatures called Wyverns from my parents. It was believed that they lived in Alaska and gave special powers to their owners, providing they bonded well with them. I felt a new feeling, as if there was something new. I stood up and took a close look while it did the same. It had lapis blue scales and shining arctic blue eyes. It had a beak that looked like it was made of ice. I had seen pictures of it in our 'Book of Legends' which was
illustrated by our dad. The picture was just a baby one, and I'm pretty sure this was not because it was massive.

Suddenly, it grabbed my shirt and lifted me off the ground. I yelled for help but is seemed as if time had frozen and only the snow and the air could hear me. I looked over the horizon to try to find out my location but at the speed the Wyvern was traveling in and the freezing wind that blasted against my face, it was impossible to even open my eyes. The only thing I could do was to wait it out and that's what I did.

The Wyvern landed abruptly and and I was greeted by an amazing sight...
