Gladius was waiting for me in the fields patiently as I rushed out. "2 seconds late," he tutted," It's always part of a hero to be punctual but by seeing your sorry state, I predict you got into a bit of a scuffle didn't you?" I groaned. He must have heard or something. "Colin is a bit of a disgrace but never mind him, today's a big day for tomorrow, we're setting out to find the Air Elemental. We've got everything ready except for one thing. And that's your weapons." he explained as he led me to a clearing which I didn't think much of before. As he walked towards it, the ground in the clearing elevated down with a creaking noise. "Cool right? Have no idea how it recognizes our identities but for our clerics, it barely requires any brain power." he said as he led me down the slope.
The slope led to a huge room full of shining weapons and there were little wisps rushing here and there, cleaning all of the weapons one by one. "Take your pick, these are the unused weapons of fallen warriors, treasuries, raids, and more. I suggest the Mortis, which is mighty in Latin. Or maybe the Ladfern, used by Darrion Fenwick from Bulgaria. How about..." he rambled on. I ignored him and skimmed through all the weapons slowly. What a mess, I thought, if only they divided it all up. Chiller roared and chewed on my shirt, slowly trying to pull me back.
I'll play with you later Chiller." I exclaimed impatiently. I knelt down and started searching again. Chiller suddenly sneezed and I was pushed into the pile of weapons. A crude battle-ax lay almost a millimeter away from me. I glared at Chiller and pushed the battle-axe away. "I could have died from that Chiller!" I exclaimed angrily. Then I saw something in my the spot that the battle-axe used to be. A shield made from pure ice lay there. It radiated a weird kind of magical aura and I picked it up to inspect it. Its coldness didn't seem to effect me. I was so caught up in its beauty I didn't notice Chiller pulling me backwards. He licked my face and caught my attention. "You know that smell won't come off Chiller! What's wrong with you today?"
Chiller slowly opened his closed spinal scales which I didn't notice before and revealed something to me. It was a sword made from pure ice. Just like the shield. They both had the same symbol encarved on them. A wonderfully made picture of Chiller's head. As I lifted it up, it felt as if they were happy to be together again and were vibrating in joy. They both felt as light as feathers when I held them although I was pretty sure to an average man, the ice's heavenly architecture would still make it weigh him down to the ground.
I went up to Gladius and revealed the weapons I had found. "Look what I had found!" I yelled happily
"Holy Hydra!" He exclaimed.
