Dean's POV
====================
The girls thanked us for helping and we drove them home. Back at the motel Balthazar was sitting in a chair staring at the ceiling.
"Boooored."
Charlie chuckled at his childish behavior.
"Are you alright Charlie."
I asked trying to create a conversation away from Balthazar's annoying remarks.
She looked at me in confusion.
"Why wouldn't I be."
I smirked
"You were just kidnapped by shifters."
Charlie cocked a brow.
"Um yeah I noticed and I'm fine."
I shrugged
"Okay fine."It was getting late. Sam was sitting on the edge of Amy's bed while she lay in bad scrolling on her phone. He was pretending to clean out his gun but was clearly watching Amy. If Cas wasn't out with Gabe getting groceries from the market he would not have stood for this.
I snickered and nudged Charlie with my shoulder. She looked up at me and I smiled and pointed.
Charlie held back laughter and a spark of amusement shone in her eyes.
I went back to looking at Sam. He carefully set the shotgun down and suddenly looked nervous. Suddenly he fake sneezed really loudly and pretended like the "surprise" sent him flying into a position where he was laying right next to Amy.
She looked at him alarmed. She didn't seem to notice how horribly fake the sneeze was.
"Are you okay Sam? Are you getting a cold?"
She held her hand to his forehead.
"I think I might be."
Sam said.
Amy looked worried.
"Maybe you should take the bed tonight Sam."
He grabbed her wrist as she began to get up.
He whipped out the puppy dog eyes to my surprise made himself look legitimately as if he didn't feel well.
"Could you stay."
He said innocently.
Amy shrugged.
"Sure, whatever."
Amy obviously saw it as a thing a good friend would do for her sick friend and noting more than that.
It was impressive how oblivious she was to the whole thing.
Charlie slapped a hand over her mouth and tried hard to hold back laughter. Balthazar's eyes were watering as he stomped his foot trying to stop himself from laughing. Sam eyes flickered over to Charlie Balthazar and I to see our faces red from keeping it all back. He frowned at us and looked down at Amy who was trying to fall asleep half a foot away from him.
This made me think about what the shifter said to me. What did she mean when she said Charlie wanted to be my girlfriend? Shifters lie. But they can also get into people's minds. I personally wouldn't mind her liking me at all. I've liked her ever since a little while before I dropped out of high school. And I'm glad i'm smoother at hiding it than Cas and Sam. That left me something to think about.A few minutes later and Amy was asleep. Sam was watching the door obviously waiting for Cas to come back and see him. Another ten minutes had passed and footsteps were heard at the doorstep. Sam silently scooted right next to her and carefully put his arm around her while trying not to wake her.
Cas walked in with Gabe after him. He saw Sam and he dropped the plastic bag full of groceries. Sam smirked at him and stuck out his tongue. Gave was laughing quietly and Cas looked as if he was going to lunge at Sam. I guess he didn't want to wake Amy and he angrily stomped to a corner and sat in a chair. Gabe laughed at him.
"Dude you look constipated."
An eruption of stifled laugher went over the room.
Amy shifted in her sleep and her head fell to Sam's chest. Sam smiled down at her and Castiel clenched his jaw obviously fighting the urge to yell.
