Dean's POV
--------------------------
The demon was tied to a chair while Sam ordered it to save Charlie. I just couldn't leave her side I was blocking the rest of them away from her because I simply didn't want her to be crowded. Why was Gabe here all of the sudden? Anger bubbled up inside me and while still keeping pressure on her would with one hand, I grabbed Gabe by his collar with the other hand.
"IF YOU WOULDN'T HAVE DITCHED US, SHE WOULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN HURT!"
I saw an apologetic look in his eyes as he mouthed a quiet sorry.
"Dean..."
Charlie said in a raspy voice. I loosened my grip on Gabe and he slipped from my grasp as I looked to Charlie.
"It wasn't his fault..."
I disagreed, but it wasn't the best time to argue.
Sam and the rest were still threatening the demon and screaming.
Charlie's eyes began to flicker shut.
"I love you..."
Her breathing began to slow down and I panicked.
"No Charlie keep your eyes open! Please!"
My voice dropped to a trembling whisper.
"Don't leave me..."
Her eyes closed.
"Come on Charlie wake up."
Realizing what was happening, the rest of them stopped shouting and looked to Charlie and I fearing the worst.
"Wake up Charlie!"
I said with my voice cracking.
I checked her pulse.
Nothing.
I tried to feel her breath over her mouth.
Nothing.
Everyone's eyes filled with tears and I tried to revive her.
There was nothing I could do.
Charlie Fawn was dead.
I let go of her hand feeling another surge of anger.
I cut the demons hand off with Ruby's knife and he screamed in pain.
"BRING HER BACK!"
The demon laughed.
"I'm afraid I can't Bucko."
I punched him in the face repeatedly, as the tears began to pour. I yelled in between punches.
"BRING!"
(Punch)
"HER!"
(Punch)
"BACK!"
(Punch)
(Punch)
Sam and Cas came up behind me and held me back as the demon laughed.
I stopped when I saw Balthazar, Gabe, and Amy crowded around her in a mess of tears.
I picked her up and and sank to the floor folding myself over her lifeless body.
Everything was red. I heard the echoes of crying and that stupid demon laughing, but it all seemed so far away. "She's dead! You're never going to see her again!"
My mind screamed at me.
Why her.
Why.
Couldn't it be some idiot demon.
The world was dissolving around me.
I was numb.
