Charlie's POV
========================
Dean flipped the keys in his hand as I followed him out to the impala, leaving our giggling friends behind. I jumped into the passenger side next to Dean. He and I were rarely alone. And I was confused as to why he was taking me without the other guys. But whatever I needed the caffeine anyway.

Dean's POV
====================
I wanted to be alone with Charlie. Maybe we could I don't know. . . talk about feelings or something if that's what girls are into. Well technically Charlie never talks about her feelings, this made her very difficult to read. I wanted to say something smooth on the car ride to the coffee shop, something that would lead to a deep conversation. But what.
"Hey Charlie what's your favorite color?"
Just great Dean. Real smooth!
I told myself.
Charlie looked confused but answered anyway.
"Red."
"Cool." I said as we awkwardly drove in silence the rest of the way.
When we got there we ordered coffee and I sat down across from Charlie as she pulled out her laptop to do some research most likely which left me to sit in an unbearable silence. I noticed smear of yellow dust on the edge of the table. I dabbed my finger in it and smelled it. Sulfur.
I looked around to see the waiter right coming up behind Charlie. He smirked and his eyes turned black. I gasped causing Charlie to look at me with confusion. I stood up and grabbed her wrist.
"What's your problem?"
She said as she stood up next to me.
The demon started towards us as I panicked. Charlie was still confused due to the fact that his eyes were no longer black. I pulled my jacket back and took out the demon knife. Everyone in the shop gasped and ran from the building. I didn't have much time before the police came.
"Dean what the ma-"
She couldn't finish her sentence as a roughly pushed her out of the way and lunged at the demon.

Charlie's POV
===================
I hit the tile floor and watched as Dean tackled the waiter to the ground. He was on top of him trying to plunge the demon knife into his heart and the waiter held dean's arms above him trying to stop Dean from stabbing him.
Dean had to know something I didn't do I jumped up and ran to his aid forcing the mans hands down to let Dean kill him.
A light shone through the mans eyes and mouth and then went out.
A demon.
Dean stood up panting as I smirked.
"How did you know he was a demon?"
I asked.
"His eyes went black for a moment." He answered.
"Oh well thanks."
I hugged him.
"I'm glad we are friends Dean."

Dean's POV
=====================
Did she just friend zone me?

Charlie's POV
======================
Did I seriously just friend zone myself?

Sam's POV
======================
Dean and Charlie came through the door without saying anything.
"That was a short coffee break."
I said
Dean glared at me.
"There was a demon at the coffee place. But we took care of it."
Charlie blushed and I smirked when a thought came into my head.
Dean sighed.
"I'm gonna go get a beer from the trunk."
He left and I smiled mischievously at Charlie.
"You like Dean don't you Charlie."

Charlie's POV
=====================
I felt the heat rising to my cheeks as I froze.
Amy smiled at his comment from the chair in the corner and Balthazar smirked.
"Oh heck yeah she's got it bad for Dean."
Gabe Laughed.
"It's true Sam we all know. Well except for you Dean and Cas."
Cas looked confused.
Sam looked at me seriously.
"No really do you Charlie."
I looked down at my feet and nodded.
"Don't tell him."
Sam held up his hands
"Alright fine."
Dean opened the door and walked in oblivious to all his friends except for me snickering under their breath.
Sam looked over at me and laughed.
I mouthed at him to shut up.
