Yoongi

The sketch was at it's perfection and Hoseok said he was more than satisfied with the artwork, Yoongi couldn't help but to feel a sense of pride in himself.

"Alright, where were you thinking of getting this?"

"Like, my forearm."

Yoongi let the image run through his mind.

"Okay, I can do that- let's go back to the tattoo station and get started."

He watched Hoseok nod, but could see his small tenseness return the way it was present when he arrived. Of course, being a tattoo artist for a living, he met occasional people who were very anxious. He always tried to calm them down, but it seemed almost as if he made it worse. It was Jin who could ease everyone's tensions in the shop, his personality is gentle and easy going, unlike Yoongi. But Hoseok felt different to him. Yoongi felt like he really could calm him down.

The pair go back to the station where Yoongi began to turn his sketch into a temporary tattoo to be an outline for himself to follow on Hoseok's skin. As soon as he finished, he explicated his plan to Hoseok before starting anything to try and clam any nerves he contained.

"I'm just gonna put his temporary tattoo on you then use the needle and ink to draw over it. It'll hurt and bleed a little, but it's not the worst thing in the world, and we can always take a break, okay?"

He viewed Hoseok's reaction. A small nod was given, but a hint of anxiety was shown through body language in his fiddling hands and tapping of the foot. Yoongi set up his materials as he attempted to give words of comfort to Hoseok.

"Hey, it's okay to be nervous- everyone is nervous their first time."

Hoseok's gaze went to Yoongi as he responded,

"Really? Were you nervous?"

Yoongi chuckled slightly, letting the memory re-play in his mind.

"Yeah, super nervous- and I knew I wanted a lot of tattoos like I have now so after I got the one, the only thing I thought was 'how many more times do I have to do this?' I actually hate getting tattoos, I just like the look of them after- but I think that's how everyone that gets a tattoo thinks."

He felt a spark of happiness light inside him when Hoseok let out the smallest giggle.

"Yeah, I'm more just looking forward to the outcome of the tattoo."

Yoongi finished setting everything up, purposefully stalling a little longer so he could have small talk with the cute, worried boy.

"Don't worry, it'll look awesome- I just have to start it now."

He held out Hoseok's thin, shaky arm to wipe with rubbing alcohol before placing the outline tattoo on with water. He pat it down gently as a nonverbal sign to comfort the anxious boy. Hoseok kept his eyes locked on the situation in front of him. When the paper was removed and the outline showed on Hoseok's skin, Yoongi was able to see the smile that crept on the boys face.

"Wow..."

"Oh it gets cooler than this,"

Yoongi gave off a small smirk to Hoseok, who returned the grin.

"Well, I'm excited then."

"Great, me too."

And so Yoongi began, grabbing the needle and the ink, delicately dipping it in to get a generous amount.

"You ready?"

Hoseok bit his lip lightly, Yoongi could see his anxiety becoming evident once more.

"Yeah- I just don't want it to hurt that bad."

"It's not that bad, it'll just feel worse at the beginning because it's a new feeling, but you'll get used to it."

Hoseok nodded, still biting his lip harsher as a habit of anxiety.

"Okay- then I'm ready."

Yoongi slowly pierced the needle into his skin, being gentle so he could sense any negative reaction from Hoseok. All he could see from his peripheral vision was a slight flinch, but nothing too intense. He secretly wished he was the one to relax him and let him know it was okay instead of being the one to cause him pain.

Yoongi felt his hands concentrated on the design, but his mind on Hoseok. He didn't know what these feelings and thoughts were towards him, but he didn't hate them, or want to neglect them. In fact, he wanted to recognize them, and he wished to know who Hoseok really was.
