Hoseok

The sound of Hoseok's legs swinging back onto the table he was sitting on filled the room. He gazed toward Yoongi walking into the doorway labeled, "employees only." He saw him holding a sizeable amount of papers, flipping through each at a swift pace.

"When will you be done with those?"

Hoseok's voice seemed to catch Yoongi's attention, stopping his tracks, looking up at him with raised eyebrows.

"Um, probably like, half an hour?"

A slight groan escaped Hoseok's lips, he knew that Yoongi had to work, but it was a Saturday and the younger had nothing else to do and he just wanted to spend quality time with his boyfriend.

"...can I help you then?"

He kept his eyes glued on Yoongi to catch any reaction from him. He could read mostly his normal blank face, but  caught a small expression of surprise.

"You wanna help? You don't even know what I'm doing."

Hoseok shrugged, he didn't care much. Really, he just wanted to fill time till Yoongi gets a break, and he's still with him, so he thought it wouldn't be dreadful.

"That's fine, I'll still do it."

With one hop, Hoseok jumps off the table and hovers over the shorter boy holding the papers. The two examine the information given.

"Okay, this dude is named Minseok, he called yesterday so I wrote all this shit down, we need to schedule him for a tattoo."

Hoseok gave the older a look of confusion.

"That sounds easy to do though- can't you schedule him for any day you want?"

Yoongi's breathy laugh was barely audible as he turned around and smirked toward Hoseok.

"Not really, considering there's other appointments scheduled and depending on the days Namjoon, Jin, and I are working."

The response causes Hoseok to feel instant stupidity.

Of course he would have other appointments and days off, why didn't I think of that? It's just common sense.

"Hoseok- it's okay, you wouldn't know that, you don't work here, remember?"

Yoongi pulled Hoseok toward him by the hips, causing a slight gasp from the latter before he eased into his boyfriend's arms. Hoseok leaned down, Yoongi meeting him halfway and the two connecting their lips into a soft kiss. It was a short but meaningful gesture as Yoongi broke the kiss and leaned on the other's forehead.

"So, let's get to work now, shall we?"

Hoseok nods in agreement, a small grin apparent on his face.

Yoongi

After a generous amount of work, the couple were completely beat. Yoongi tilted his seat back, closing his eyes to get a moment's rest. Hoseok's voice resonating the tired boy's ears caused him to nearly jolt upwards in his seat.

"I just realized, I don't know so much about your past- oh sorry, were you sleeping?"

Yoongi rubs his eyes, attempting to make himself more awake.

"Oh, no- I just kinda dozed off a little bit, I do that sometimes. But anyway, it's fine- there's not much to know, I mean, that's if you're even interested."

His exhausted eyes shot up when he could hear his boyfriend scoff.

"What do you mean? Of course I'm interested, I'm not a total asshole. So c'mon, tell me anything."

Old memories make their way to Yoongi's mind as he selects certain ones to tell.

"Hm, well I was kinda a normal kid, you know I was friends with Namjoon and Jin. I think it was after highschool when I started actually doing shit. Like when I was nineteen I moved into an apartment and got some normal jobs just to pay the bills, you know. But since I always loved tattoos, I've gotten them since highschool and practiced doing them since I was eighteen, so when I was twenty, I opened this shop and told the guys and yeah, everything's pretty much been the same since."

Yoongi could visualize the pictures playing in his head as if it were a story as he explained everything to Hoseok. Then he observed the younger's reaction, a simple, genuine smile.

"Okay, but like every other human being, there has to be some rough patches in there."

Multiple flashbacks come to Yoongi's thoughts as he reflected on the small moments in his life.

"Yeah, I guess, but it's the typical teenage rebel stages, and for some the whole 'coming out to your parents' thing so- yea."

Feelings and emotions wasn't something Yoongi was ever good at expressing to others. But he knew that, which he felt was better than being oblivious to the fact.

"That's still a shit ton to deal with though...did you come out to your parents, or no?"

Another memory of teenage Yoongi popped into the older's mind. He shifted slightly in his seat before continuing.

"I did, it was like- super awkward though. I started shaking because I got all nervous and they thought something was wrong with me, then I had to tell them I was fine, 'I was just gay.' Then they got all confused, but started to understand and they accepted it."

Yoongi couldn't help his own smile creep onto his lips as he watched his boyfriend giggle with his hand over his mouth. And in that moment he had a single thought, maybe I really do love this dancer.
