Hoseok
He waited patiently with both Namjoon and Jin for his boyfriend to come back to the shop. The short text conversation prior to Hoseok's arrival made the boy anxious. Yoongi had sent one sentence, "I need to talk to everyone as soon as I get back."
The sudden need to converse worried the younger, he knew that Jungkook had done something to interfere. He also found it sketchy that Yoongi would go for a period of not speaking to Hoseok, then unexpectedly tell him that he needs to talk. The atmosphere felt questionable.
As soon as the door creaked open, all heads riveted toward it, becoming less patient by the second.
"Yoongi-" Namjoon called out, "What do you have to tell us?"
The small, silver-haired boy looked back at his co-worker.
"Can I put my jacket down before you ask questions?"
The latter sighed, leaning back in his chair.
Hoseok wanted to speak, just to say a simple, "Hello," but he was almost afraid to.
When Yoongi returned from placing his jacket on his desk, Namjoon repeated his question. The older replied this time.
"Okay, this is gonna sound like a lot, and it kinda is, but I haven't decided on anything yet...Basically, Jungkook gave me the opportunity to work with him in his tattoo shop. That means if I work with him, I wouldn't own this place, but that also means you two," he points toward Jin and Namjoon, "-would be able to take ownership. Then as for Hoseok, there would be no problem with meeting, I'd be able to see you as often as I do now."
A flash of anger came over Hoseok, and he wasn't sure of the exact reason. He didn't know whether he was irate over Jungkook's offer itself, or Yoongi's last words, 'as often as I do now.' He thought it was complete bullshit.
"What, you mean as often as you saw me this past week?"
The younger let the words slip out his mouth like butter.
"Huh?"
Yoongi almost looked puzzled by the statement.
"Oh, you don't know? You don't know how I tried to contact you all week while you were away with Jungkook and practically ignored everyone?"
The expression on the older's face quickly changed, becoming more irritated.
"Wait, you're mad at me? Weren't you the one that wanted to help me with this?"
Hoseok became more serious, feeling more hurt hearing his own response.
"Yeah, I wanted to help you, not let you abandon us."
Namjoon and Jin continually listened to the small fight in silence, but the last sentence caused both of them to awkwardly glance toward each other.
Yoongi pursed his lips, letting the harsh words hit him.
"I'm not abandoning anyone, okay... I'm sorry I didn't talk to you all week, a lot has been on my mind with all these opportunities, and I just needed time to think."
Hoseok allowed another pause to decide on an appropriate reply.
"It's okay, I understand that. I just felt disconnected, and I admit to a little jealousy."
The atmosphere had become different, it became suddenly joyful. Yoongi raised an eyebrow toward his boyfriend, slightly grinning.
"Jealous? Of Jungkook and I?"
Jin chimed in the conversation, further teasing the dancer.
"Oh yeah, you should've heard him talking to me."
Yoongi let out a full on laugh, while Hoseok was almost beet red in embarassment.
"Hyung!"
The three boys were stuck in a fit of laughter despite the protests from the younger.
"You love me so much-"
Yoongi reached out to pull Hoseok into his lap.
"Shut up-"
"I love you too, Hoseok-"
