Hoseok

A variety of things scared the young boy, but he didn't know a simple knock on the door could be one of them. Hoseok quickly shot up due to his sudden shock before striding towards the door to see who could've startled him.

"Jimin?"

The shorter gave a small nod, instantly averting his eyes from Hoseok's the moment they meet.

"Yeah- I know it's like eight at night, but I just wanted to see you in person and apologize."

The last word catches Hoseok off guard, causing him to form a confused look.

"Apologize?"

"Mhm- that whole thing with that tattoo boy the other week. I know I said sorry then, it's just I wanted to properly do it cause I didn't think we were on the best terms afterward and you're one of my best friends, Hoseok."

A small grin formed on Hoseok's lips as he listened to his friend.

"You're one of my best friends too, Jimin. Of course I accept your apology."

He pulled the smaller in for a heartfelt hug.

"Really? You're the best-"

"Oh I know, also you actually got Yoongi and I together."

Hoseok watched as Jimin's mouth dropped in complete surprise.

"What? So you're dating now? That's exciting, congrats!"

This time it was Jimin who pulled his best friend in an embrace.

"Thanks. Maybe you should meet someone too."

The reaction Hoseok read on the other's face was utter puzzlement.

"What do you mean? I'm happy now, I don't need anyone."

"Well no, you don't need someone but you would find yourself being exponentially happier if you did meet someone."

The younger leaned forward, tapping Hoseok's forehead once.

"I think your love-crazy mind is taking over you. I know once your in a relationship it feels like all rainbows and flowers at first, but it doesn't stay like that."

Hoseok then tried to recall a time when Jimin had ever been in a relationship.

"But you've never dated anyone before, how would you know? And I know the perfect person for you."

"I've seen it happen to my friends. One day they're talking like you, about how great relationships are. Then the next they come crying, talking about how they were betrayed, saying they're never gonna be in another relationship. Honestly, it gets exhausting. So, I'll reject this 'perfect person' you have in mind."

Hoseok wasn't about to lose hope, he desperately wanted to help two of his friends.

"C'mon, you can't just give up like that. If you see how those relationships go, then make sure yours isn't like that. You know the type of person you are, and you're not a bad one, so what could you possibly do wrong? And I assure you that my friend is not a bad person whatsoever."

"...I don't know Hoseok, relationships are a lot of commitment, that's why I'd rather just do 'one night stand' kind of things."

The older rolled his eyes, frustrated that he couldn't seem to convince Jimin fully.

"Yes, I know. I'm just asking you to meet him once okay? If you don't like him after that, you don't have to talk to him."

A moment of silence fell before Jimin glanced up towards Hoseok.

"Well what's his name?"

"Kim Taehyung."
