Grace's POV

I woke up this morning feeling better from last nights events.  Calum and I had actually had a somewhat civil conversation and that made me feel a little bit better about this whole staying together situation.  I walked out of my room and got into the shower, I got changed and walked downstairs where I saw Calum and someone else sitting with him at the counter.

"Morning Grace, this is Luke my friend I was telling you about."

Luke turned around and damn.  I had seen him around school before, but never up close.  He was so tall, like 6'4, and he had blonde hair that was brushed to the side of his face.  But the thing that stood out the most were his eyes.  They were a bright shade of blue and they seemed like they could stare right into my soul.

"Hey Grace, I think I've seen you around school before." Luke said with a big grin.  His entire face caught me off guard, I probably looked so stupid right now.

"Hi, yeah I've seen you, I see you all the time, at school I mean.  It's not like I've been to your house because that would be weird, I've just seen you in school." I trailed off.  By now I was rambling like an idiot and I'm probably scaring the living shit out of him.  Surprisingly he just laughed at my idiocy, hopefully he didn't find it weird.

"You're cute." Luke said with a sweet smile.  We stood there staring at each other for what felt like an hour when Calum ruined it.

"Yeah okay, um Grace could you close your mouth, your drooling." Calum said and my face went bright red.

"Shut the fuck up Calum." I grumbled giving him a death glare.

Calum chuckled and  started to pull Luke away to the living room, but as Luke walked past me he held out a piece of paper for me to take.  I flipped it over and saw the digits that made up his phone number.  Everyone, Jesus is real.

I smiled to myself with the small piece of paper in my hands.  I placed the sheet in my pocket and walked into the living room.

"Hey guys I'm going to walk downtown, so I'll be gone for a while, see you later." I started to make my way to the door.

"Hey wait, why don't we go with you, we aren't doing anything." Luke announced.  I wasn't expecting anyone to join me on my walk, normally I take these walks for some peace and quiet.  But I wouldn't mind some company.

"That's cool with me if you guys want to come, Calum?" I asked.

Calum released a big sigh before answering.

"Fine, I guess so." Calum said with slumped shoulders.

Luke cheered like a little kid and jumped up from the couch.

"Let's go guys." Luke yelled and ran for the door.  I smiled at his childish behavior.  From the corner of my eye, I could see Calum glaring at Luke.  What is his problem?
