Chapter 4: Talk About Old Fashion

At dinner me, Jake, and Jackson was asked what happened since the town's gossip was the only excitement in this town when the gang isn't busy so we retold the story and everyone laughed and then my cousins 16 and up and jackson, jake, and I went to the field in our trucks and bikes also we hitched up our trailer for our horses and our four wheelers. Jackson, Jake, and I rode in my silver dodge pickup. When we got there I pushed a button the uncovers the back of my pick up and pops up a stage for my cousin who we call Dj because he could make some mean soundtracks by the age of four. When everything was set up I texted everyone that the party was a go and 3 second later everyone was pulling in and trucks were parked beside the trees so there'd be still some room to dance and unload the toys and horses and horses were put in an old barn i fixed up. When DJ hooked up his station and the beat of Brantley Gilbert "bottoms up" started to play I started to sing and me a jake danced and my brother danced with Wolfie.

We danced too ten songs and soon I announced the the races will start after seven and we got too dancing again. Me and jake was dancing to Pitbull and christina Aguilera Feel this moment until someone rammed into me and spilled there drink down my shirt. when I turned around I saw the two girls who is out for revenge and he smiled and one says "oops sorry didn't see you" and when I had turned around everyone stopped what they were doing and the music stopped and everyone but my brother and jake moved away from me and the girls "what are you doing at my part cici and bree?" my anger filling my voice and every inch of my body they didn't answer me they saw my brother and jake and spoke to them ignoring the glares they gave them and there stances "Oh jack and jake we didn't know you were here we thought youd me in the gym flexing those muscles" says cici as bree giggles and they walk over to them and tries to flirt with them until I spoke again in an icy tone that could even get a wild horse too stop and do as it was told with no hassle "what are you doing here everyone knows that you're not invited to my party and how did you even find out about where it is no one facebooked it or posted it on the internet and told you two about it unless you threatened too have you daddy's too fire stalkers mother if he didn't tell" cici just smiled and said "I don't know what your talking about" 'the hell you do cici now go away don't come near my family and if you pull another stunt like you just did and threatened my family and friends you're going too wish you hadn't so will your father" and as if he thought it was a cue to come out of hiding my father was suddenly beside me and jackson and jake with his arms crossed and a glare on his face.

"Cici leave my daughter alone" when my father spoke those words cici went pale with shock because word hasn't gotten out that my father was alive "you..you're supposed to be dead no one could have survived" cici stammered and my father just smiled "I had help from a friend and my wife was already dead and I thought my son was and my daughter cici or can I call you Cecilia Floreze our father is ricardo florez your mother's name is Rebecca smith Floreze was born in texas dallas your father is from new york has other children before your mother you're the only one he has custody of and your parents divorced when your mother was found cheating with the gardener and she has a five year old son and a ten year old twin girls your father acts rich but he is not he lost his job and his business about a month ago you are moving into the old ranch where your aunt use to live at and you just found out that your father is leaving you here and moving to Dallas too marry a girl who you never meet because she is going to have a baby and you think your going to be forgotten by your parents and your family but what you didn't know your father is my brother he just changed his last name because he thought I was a disgrace and that I was going to do is get him and everyone I loved killed and you are moving too my daughters ranch where we never give up on family" his words drew everyone's mouths open but wolfies and jake's so I looked at them both "you knew that I had a uncle that hated my guts and a cousin and you two never thought too tell me about her" they smiled "well then I'm not fixing anything to eat for a month the next time you too do that and i will make sure gram won't cook and when you come over wolfie and jake when it's time to eat you will have to deal with sheriff's cooking and he burns everything on one side while we eat what i cook". That caused me to get some glares from them and a laugh from everyone else. when me and my new found cousin made peace D.J put the song back on and we all began to dance and sing along too the song which was my favorite song 'hey ho' and we danced until too a quarter before midnight when the lights around the field comes on and where we danced we splattered each other with glow and dark paint and we had dance offs and races which my brother, jake and I did every thing that was set up. when it hit midnight jake went up too me and said "happy birthday lily" and he gave me a kiss and everyone was celebrating until four in the morning then we all draged our buts home and feel into bed after a quick shower to remove some of the paint. When I woke up it was nine in the morning and everyone was still asleep so I quietly got changed out of my pjs and into a pair of jeans and a t-shirt and boots and my stensen. When I got outside after making some cinnamon buns and putting them in the oven I went out too start chores. I was finishing up cleaning the stalls and feeding the horses and watering them after cleaning the water buckets when I heard jake yell "lilly the rolls are done" and I started to run back to the house and I caught up too jake as he was about to open the screen door and hopped up onto his back laughing because he bought fell down until he regained his footing and he started to laugh as I let go and my feet hit the porch.

When I take a quick shower to get off the dirt and smell also too cool me off. When I sat down after putting on one of my mother's old lace dresses I found up in the attic it was a light blue lace with a navy blue top and a brown belt and my brown boots and had my hair in a hippie style and a blue hippie head band with a white flower on the side and my father just stared so did my uncles and well everyone but my cousins and jake and jackson. I didn't notice the staring until my fourth cinnamon roll and my fourth scoop of strawberries and third glass of milk. "what?' I asked them when I looked up from my plate "i'm going to eat it all so don't worry jeez will you stop staring please its getting me off of my food" I started to eat again as Dj spoke "nothing could get you off food not even being covered in dirt and blood you would still eat like you weren't dirty" that earned a laugh from my family and jake and that earned everyone glares and my father still stared at me like he just saw a ghost until I asked "what's up with you you look like you've just seen a ghost dad" that got him out of his head and he looked surprised so did everyone but jake and jackson when I said dad I just ate as I waited for and answer. "you look like your mother and you just called me dad like you've been doing it all your life even though you just got me back in your life" I shrug "well I have been calling you daddy, father and dad all my life stopped when I was ten since gram took me too a creepy psychiatrist because I would always say that my daddy was watching me every day because I could always find either you or jake move into the shadows when I was in the woods and I would always see moving shadows in the dark from my window into the woods and then there was when I spotted you that day and I old gram and she didn't believe me so I started to take pictures of you watching me".

Everyone was shocked that I never told them this before or showed them the pictures so I got up and brought a wooden box that had my initials on the old and gramps stamp on the bottom telling people that he built it and I was covered in carvings of flowers and a moon. When I opened it the box was filled with pictures throughout the years I spotted my father and jake "I even have some of jake" gram looked up as did everyone else and they all said "some?" at the same time "okay a hundred thirty-five and dad has two hundred and still on my camera there four hundred and thirty five pictures of both jake and dad" someone let out a whistle I just laugh and go back to my room and grab my camera and head back. When I get back into the kitchen I grab my laptop from it hiding place and hook up my camera too the laptop and then too the tv this way we don't have to go through my nice and neat box of pictures. The first picture is of my first girl cousin she was laying down in my garden in the middle of a patch of wildflowers and she was facing the camera giggling because I had one of my pups coming behind me slowly and I had been laying next to her on my side. My now ten thirteen year old cousin grinned and said "I might have been three in that but I remember that day like it was yesterday" that caused us to laugh. By midnight we had finished looking at the pictures and I had fallen asleep laying across my brother and jake and my head in my father's lap as he stroked my hair while looking at my photos and all of my cousins had fallen asleep and been moved to there rooms and my aunts and uncles retired to their rooms and gram made sure that the boys and I were covered with a blanket. I woke up too dad picking me up but i didn't mind I just wrapped my arms around his neck and snuggled against him as he carried me too my room.
