I sat in the hospital with Mae'a dad and a boy, the boy wasn't familiar to me. He looked older, and hot.

He had black hair falling into his devilish face. His blue eyes light and distressed. His muscles were more then clear through his black vale brides shirt, his hands shoved into the pockets of his jeans. He paced tensely, as though awaiting the news was all he could think about.

"Hey," I touched his hand to get his attention, and found myself drowning in his blue eyes,"I don't believe we've met before. I'm Elizebeth, Mae's best freind."

He looked at me puzzled for a second, then shock his head.

"She never mentioned you," he said without emotion, and I got the feeling he wasn't really looking at me.

I stair off, she never mentioned me. It hurt to hear those words, we had been friends sense childhood. Closer then two peas in a pod, and he hadn't heard of me. Come to think of it, I we hadn't talked much these past few months. Suddenly I felt guilty.

I knew Mae was going through a rough time, but I was do caught up in a stupid fight. I saw the bullying get worse, but I assumed she could handle it. All I wanted was an apology, and I wouldn't even acknowledge her without it. Now I sat in the hospital waiting to hear if she was alive.

"What happened?" I asked the boy, suddenly aware that I don't know. She could have been hit by a car, shot, I had no idea.

"She tired to kill herself." the boy sat down, putting his head in his hands.

"She wouldnt." I whispered, not seeing the world on front of me.

"Hi," I timidly said to the new girl. Her blond hair falling in her face, she twirled her hands arounds.

"H-hi," she stuttered, looking at me with beautiful blue eyes.

"I'm Rebecca," I held my hand to her, she took it hesitantly.

"Mae," she whispered.

"Wanna play with me?"

"Sure," Mae smiled at me, and we began to talk. It was simple things at first, she was such an angel. So innocent and sweet.
