The last few months of school flew by and now, the bell's about to ring. People started counting down during the last few seconds then, BAM! Everyone hightailed it outta there like it was a freaking oven! The last days of school were pretty hot. Anyways, I ran out of the door with Kylie, Rebecca, and Cameron. If you didn't know, Cameron is Superman's son. Damian came up behind us, panting. I turned around and he had his hands on his knees. "Hey, you ok?" I asked him. "Yeah, I'm ok. It's just that you guys are really fast!" Damian exclaimed. I chuckled a little, then turned back around and started to walk. We all then headed to the park to where Kylie and I had had our date months before. I walked to the bench and sat down. Kylie sat down next to me as the others went and ran around. "Have you ever wondered what life would be like for us if we were normal?" I asked Kylie. "Surprisingly, no." Kylie said. I sighed as I turned back to the others and got up off the bench. Damian grabbed me by the arm and almost threw me to the ground. "What was that for?!" I exclaimed. "C'mon, have some fun." Damian said. I smiled and rolled my eyes. Damian tapped me on the shoulder and started to run. "Oh, we're playin' tag, huh? I'll show ya." I said. I ran at Rebecca and tapped her head. I smirked and ran away, hoping that she would try and chase me. Sure enough, she did. After about two hours of playing tag and talking about plans for summer vacation, we all went home.
I face planted on my bed and sighed. "Well, today was eventful." I said as I rolled over and stared at my ceiling. After about fifteen minutes of just staring at my ceiling, I finally decided to do something. I got up off my bed and went to the door of my room. I stopped and stared at my reflection in the mirror that was beside the door. I stared at it intensely for a minute. "Why would Kylie fall for someone like me?" I asked myself. I walked downstairs and got a box of graham crackers out of the pantry. As I started to eat them, someone knocked on the door. Even though a cracker was still in my mouth, I got up and opened the door. "Hey." Rebecca said. I bit down on the graham cracker and straightened my glasses. After chewing and swallowing the cracker, I finally spoke. "Hey, what's up?" I asked her. "Nothing much, just wanted to know if you wanted to go for a walk." Rebecca said. "Yeah, sounds good. Let me just put my stuff away. You can come in of you want." I said. I walked away from the door and Rebecca entered the house. "Nice place." Rebecca said. "Thanks." I said while putting the graham crackers in the pantry. "Alright, let's go." I said patting Rebecca's shoulder.
"This is nice." Rebecca said. "Yeah it is. Just a nice stroll in the summer." I said putting my hands in my pockets. After about twenty more minutes of walking we got back to my house. "Thanks for agreeing to come with me." Rebecca said with a smile. "No problem, we all need to get outta the house once in a while." I said. "Yeah." Rebecca said. Then, she suddenly hugged me. After a few seconds, she let go and walked away. I stood there, unmoving. "What just happened?" I asked myself. I then walked inside my house. "Holy crap, she just hugged me." I said. I looked at the clock and saw it was ten o'clock. "Shoot, should probably get to bed." I said. I then went up to my room, and went to sleep. After a few nightmares, it was finally morning. I groggily got out of bed, and went downstairs to see Kylie. "Oh, hey Kylie." I said while rubbing my eyes. "Hi!" Kylie exclaimed. "So, what's up?" I asked her. "Oh nothing, except that Cam says that your cheating on me and going out with Rebecca!!" Kylie yelled. "What? Why would I do that?!" I asked her. "That's the thing! I don't know!" Kylie exclaimed. I pinched the bridge of my nose and sighed. "Cam must've seen me and Kylie walking together yesterday." I said. "Why were you walking with her anyways?" Kylie asked. "She asked me to. I wasn't gonna pass up something like that." I said, pouring myself a bowl o' cereal. "Could you tell him that it's not true? He's kinda mad right now." Kylie asked. "Yeah. Wait, why's he mad?" I asked. "He likes Rebecca." Kylie said. My eyes widened and I almost dropped my spoon. "Really?" I asked Kylie. "Yep! He really likes her!" Kylie squealed. "Well then, time to get to work." I said. "What do you mean?" Kylie asked with a devious look on her face. "We're gonna get them together." I said.
