Chapter 10: Amusement Park and Round Two

      I walked down the street with Rebecca by my side. She was going on about crazy stuff that had happened to her during her childhood. After about half an hour of us walking, we finally got to our destination, the amusement park. Kylie told me she was taking Cam there, so I decided to take Rebecca there. We all met at the front gate and just started to go around play games.

After a while, Cam and Rebecca kinda went on their own and left me and Kylie to do stuff. Kylie and I decided to just go play some games. After quite a while, we met Cam and Rebecca back at the main gate. Though, something seemed a little off. They were holding hands! Our plan had worked! Kylie and I high-fived and walked up to them. "So, what'd you guys do?" I asked them. "Uh, nothing really. Just went on a few rides." Cam said blushing lightly. "Hm, alright then. Well, I'll see you guys around." I said walking off. "Where are you going?!" Kylie exclaimed. "Need to go do stuff." I said. I heard Kylie scoff behind me and I chuckled a little bit.

As I got home, I face-planted on my bed and sighed. I looked at the clock to see it was only 2:12 PM. I rolled over and stared at my ceiling for a while then sat up and went to my desk to write ideas down that I had for a story that I'd be writing. After a minute or so, I heard a knock on my door. I got up and opened my door only to be tackled and hit the soft carpet with my back. I looked up to see Kylie smiling. "What're you doing?" I asked. "Looking at my boyfriend." Kylie said. I chuckled a little and sat up with her still on top of me. "Can you get off me now?" I asked. "Nope." Kylie stated stubbornly. I sighed and stood up, making her slide off of me and hit the ground with a thud. "Y'know, you really need to stop doing that." I said. "Doing what?" Kylie asked with a confused look on her face. "Pouncing on me." I said. "But I like to." Kylie said with a pouty face. I sighed once again and sat on my bed. "Seriously though, someone will think we're doing something inappropriate." I said. "Fine." Kylie said.

       I stood up as the sun set and I put on my leather jacket which had a hood on it. I walked out of the house and went for a little walk. I went to my private spot where I'd taken Kylie for a date about half a year before. The cold fall air blows past me and I stand in utter tranquility. I see a blue flash of light out of the corner of my right eye. I look to the right and see Zoom standing there. "Ready for round two?" he asked. "Guess so." I said before running towards him.
