After the Halloween dance, I was attacked by Captain Cold and Heatwave. Of course I stopped them very easily. Then Zoom came out of nowhere and almost killed me. But that didn't happen so that's good. But let me fast forward to December.
As I was walking towards Kylie's house to pick her up, one of my classmates Michael passed by me. He was walking fast and he kept looking behind him. I decided not to stop and talk to him and just keep walking. Oh, also we had to postpone our "date" because of school. Anyways, as I walked up the stairs on to her house's front porch, I got a bit scared. I wanted to make a good impression and I most likely wasn't with a hoodie on. So I decided to go back to my house, get a red and black checkered flannel on and run back there. As I got back there, Kylie was standing outside the door with jeans and a green blouse on. As I walked back up the steps, she looked at me and smiled. "Sorry I was late, I had to go home and put this on." I said pointing to my shirt. "I think that counts as early." she said with a smile. I looked at her and saw a bruise just left of her right eye. "What happened?" I asked her pointing to it. "Oh, Brett showed up and punched me in the face for accidentally nudging him in gym class. I swear that guy's got issues." she said shaking her head. "Let's not talk about that now. Come on. Follow me, I know a great place for occasions like this." I said while walking down her front porch steps. As we were walking away from her house, I caught a glimpse of her dad looking at me very angrily. I turned my head around and just kept on walking.
As we got to the place we were going to, Kylie's eyes widened as she saw the beautiful scenery. But it didn't last long because the wind started blowing. "Wait here." I said rushing home to get 2 scarfs, my trench coat, and one of my sister's jackets that was a bit small for her but it was perfect for Kylie. As I got back, Kylie was sitting on a bench waiting for me. I walked up to her and put the jacket and scarf around her shoulders. "Thanks, this is a nice place." she said looking at the trees around us. "Yeah, this is a place where I go to think or to just train and have some peace an quiet." I said looking around. She stood up with the jacket and scarf on and looked around. I stood up and walked around, picked up some flowers and gave them to Kylie. "Aw, thank you!" she exclaimed with happiness. We sat there for hours and talked, laughed, and just sat there. After sitting for about 4 hours, I took her home and ran back to my place.
