I got up early to make breakfast for me and Dan despite my small hangover. On my mom's way out to work, I told my mom that a friend had slept over.
Bringing the food back up, I saw Dan who's eyes were awake and his hands on his head.
"Take this."
I handed him some Advil and a bottle of water.
"Thanks." He groaned before turning to me.
"What happened last night? Because i'm used to hangovers but this is crazy."
"You got wasted, like you couldn't even stand upright. It was like watching a baby deer taking its first steps."
"It was that bad?"
"Yeah, it wasn't pretty."
"Did I say anything stupid?"
I thought about telling him but decided against it at the moment.
"You say a lot of stupid things Dan."
He laughed looking behind me at the big stack of pancakes.
"You made pancakes?"
I smiled. "Would you like some?"
Standing up, he laughed,
"Sophia you are seriously the best."
And sat down at my desk to eat one of the stacks of pancakes.
Was it right to not tell him? I didn't know what the right thing to do was in this situation. I just hope this doesn't come to bite me in the ass.
