It had been about a year since I last saw Alex. We were still together but he's constantly touring. I can see that whenever we video chat, he doesn't look happy. He won't tell me anything though.

Holly and Zack are still going strong although she doesn't see him much too. We moved into a bigger apartment because I'm now an international translator and she's a professional makeup artist.

"I miss Zack." She whined.

"And I miss Alex." I whined back.

"Let's call Mum and see how she's doing."

Holly's mom got the heart transplant and she's doing a lot better. We all meet every first and last Sunday of the month. They keep asking about our boyfriends and we keep telling them we don't see them cause they're touring.

"Holly! Are you ready?" I said in her ear.

"Bitch." She slapped my thigh and put her mom on the phone.

"Hi Mum." "Hi Holly." "Hi Mom!" "Hi Adia. How are you girls doing?"

"We're okay." "How are those boys treating you?"

"They're treating us well Mom." I replied.

"Mhm, then why do you sound so glum?"

"We haven't seen them in months."

"13 months to be exact."

"Why don't you go see them?"

"We work, Mum. I'm going to be leaving in about two months to work on a movie."

"I'm gonna be alone." I whined.

"I have to go girls. Your father just did something stupid. Bye, love you."

"Love you too, bye."

Holly hung up and I laid my head in her lap.

"Dating guys in a band is hard."

"I know right." Holly replied.

I looked at instagram and saw Alex just posted a picture of him in the hotel bed. His caption said, "Missin' the missus 😳"

I commented saying, "I miss you too, love 😧😚"

Everyone started commenting saying we're perfect and stuff and that we're the parents. Fans are so funny.

My phone started ringing and it was playing Bathwater by No Doubt so I knew it was Alex.

"Hello?" I asked being funny.

"Hi." "Hi, honey."

"I miss you more." "No, I think I miss you more."

"Touring sucks without you."

"I'm sorry, I couldn't afford missing so many days. If I get perfect attendance, they give me a small raise for one paycheck. And with the price of this apartment, Holly and I both need it."

"You guys moved again?"

"We moved closer to my job and a couple of vacant spaces."

"Vacant spaces?"

"Holly wants to start a business, a makeup business."

"That's good. How is she doing?"

"Good. Always complaining about Zack not being here."

"Zack's the same way." He replied chuckling.

"She's leaving to go to Scotland in like two months. She's doing makeup on the actors and actresses."

"That's awesome! Tell her I said congrats."

"Holly, Alex said congrats."

"Tell him I said thank you." She replied.

I told him and he said cool. I giggled and I got up to go to my room.

"Hey baby, I have to go. We're about to do a sound check."

"But I don't want you to go. Can't they wait?"

"Well, only for like five minutes."

"But Alex."

"I know, honey, I know. I'll call you after we're done with sound check."

"Okay." I replied sighing.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"Bye."

"Bye."

I hung up and I curled up to my panda and my kitten started meowing.

"Doris! What are you doing?"

She stretched and got up and started walking around. I giggled and turned the tv on.

"Adia, I'm going out!"

I walked out of my room and Holly was at the door.

"Who and where?"

"Other makeup artists and we're going to a restaurant."

"Call me when you get there." I told her.

"Yes ma'am." She gave me an air kiss and I gave her one back.

She left and Holly's cat, Sid walked in the living room.

"Sid!" I cheered.

He looked at me and walked around.

"Such cute cats."

It's shorter than usual but I'm going through a writer's block stage right now. I'll try and get something out that's a little longer so don't worry. Love ya lots, bye guys!
