Natasha's POV
"Glad you could join us." Fury said dryly as soon as Loki and I stepped into the room. I looked around and saw that all the Avengers were there.
"Okay, if you're all going to decide a punishment, just get it over and done with." Loki said with annoyance.
"First tell us why you're here." Tony demanded.
"I already told you, Odin banished me to Midgard." Loki sighed.
"Yeah and I'm Santa Claus." Tony replied. Loki just glared at Tony.
"DO NOT-" Loki stared.
"Loki!" I shook my head at him.
"Alright so you can tell if someone is lying. Tell us if Loki is actually telling the truth." Nick commanded. I looked into Loki's eyes so it wouldn't look like I was defending him.
"He's telling the truth." I responded almost immediately.
"Loki's telling the truth!?" Steve exclaimed.
"Yes, Steve. Loki's telling the truth." I replied.
"Wow. Next thing you know he'll fall in love."
Loki's POV
"So what's the punishment?" I asked.
"Well, we can ask your brother-" Fury started.
"He's not my brother." I cut in.
"Anyway, we will ask Thor to ask Odin when you will be allowed back on Asgard." Fury finished.
"That would be never." Thor had appeared in the room.
"What?" I asked in disbelief.
"Father has forbidden it." Thor said.
"So I'm stuck on Midgard until I die. Great." I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes.
"Looks like you will be returning to your cell after all." Fury said, smirking. "Agent Romanoff."
"Yes?"
"Please escort Loki back to his cell."
"Yes sir."
