I'm sorry. I had to leave. I don't want anyone else to die because of me. I'm just hurting everyone. Maybe Tony's right, maybe it's better of they kill me. At least no one else dies - just me. I'm not important, but you are. You can't stop me, no one can. Just let it go, Bucky. Find a cure for Loki, please. Don't be mad, Nat, it's not because of you. I love all of you, I really do. KiaraBucky's POV
"No, no, no. Why do you always run away?" Damn it. I ran out of her room to Natasha's. I opened the door and stopped immediately. Natasha and Loki were cuddling. "Oh, uh, I'm sorry, uh, but we have to discuss something. Meeting in my room in, uh, an hour."
Loki's POV
"Ok.... that was weird. We should go, don't you think?" I tried to get up, but Nat wrapped her legs around mine. She grabbed my head with both of her hands and brought it to her face.
"Kiss me one last time." So, I kissed her and it was better than ever.
30 minutes later....
Bucky's POV
I paced nervously back and forth in my room. Why are they not coming? It's been at least 20 minutes! I tried to focus my thoughts on something other than Kiara, Loki and Nat together or Loki's cure. It's to much. Why do all these bad things happen to us? I wish I could run away and never come back. I wish.... Like in the old times, when Steve, Kiara and I used to play hide and seek.
3rd person
"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!" 10 year old Bucky finished counting. "I'm coming to find you!" He looked around the playground and saw Steve hiding behind a bin. Bucky walked over to the bin and tapped Steve lightly on the shoulder. "Found you, Steve."
"Why do you always find me first?" Steve grumbled.
"Now, where is Kiara?" Bucky wondered aloud. The two boys searched all over the playground until they were certain they had searched every hiding place. They sat under a big oak tree, tired from looking for Kiara.
"Your sister really knows how to hide." Steve said to Bucky.
"You're telling me." Bucky replied. "Kiara, you can come out now!" He yelled. There was a soft thud behind them. Both of the boys turned to see Kiara standing there, smirking.
"You obviously didn't search every place." She told them.
"Where the hell were you?" Bucky exclaimed.
"At the top of the tree." Kiara pointed to the top of the tree, which was well over 30 metres off the ground.
"8 years old and you hide at the top of a 30 metre tree." Bucky shook his head. "You'll be the death of me, Kiara Elizabeth Barnes."
"I can live with that." Kiara helped Steve and Bucky up and the three friends walked home together.
Bucky's POV
There was a knock at my door, interrupting my thoughts. Finally, they were here.
"Come in!"
Kiara's POV
I stood in front of Stark Tower. I took a deep breath. Did I regret my decision? No.
"Ok, let's get this over with." I said to myself. I rang the doorbell.
"Hello? Who's there? Mr. Stark is working right now. Please come back soon." JARVIS answered.
"I'm sorry to interrupt your work, Stark, but it's Kiara."
Natasha's POV
"It's all my fault! I was in her room yesterday, maybe I said something that made her go." I rambled. Bucky glared at me.
"I was with her too, Nat." He said. Loki placed Kiara's note, which he had been reading, on the desk. "It's not your fault, not at all. And neither is it mine or Loki's! We need to stay calm and make a plan!" I stared angrily at him.
"Did you read the note? There is no way we can rescue someone who doesn't want to be saved! Especially if that someone is Kiara."
"We need to help her, but how?" Loki said calmly. I suddenly remembered that I had to help Loki.
"Loki, I completely forgot about the cure in all the chaos!" I looked at him apologetically.
"It's okay, Nat. I'm fine. Let's just find a plan to save Kiara."
