Natasha's POV
"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god."
"Natasha, please calm down! I can't concentrate. You're making me really nervous." Loki said with a weak voice.
"Sorry, that's not me. It's just everything freaks me out." I whispered, tired.
"Nat, everything will be fine, ok? We will find a cure for me and save Kiara." I sat on his bed and touched his leg.
"I know, I know, but I'm really tired and I can see you are, too." Loki smiled at me.
"You're right. Let's get some rest. Tomorrow will be a better day." He laid down on the bed with me next to him. Loki fell asleep easily. At least he could. I couldn't fall asleep at all. I couldn't stop thinking about Kiara and the man I love. So I got up and walked around until I was outside Kiara's room. I heard Bucky say something about Tony's plan to kill Kiara. I waited until he walked pit of Kiara's room before I entered. She sat on her bed, staring at the wall.
"Kiara? Is everything okay?" I asked.
"What do you think?" Kiara replied. "Tony wants to kill me."
"I won't let him hurt you, even if it kills me."
"No!" Kiara suddenly snapped. "I don't want my friends dying for me, not again." She started to cry and covered her head with her hands. I placed my hand on her head and tried to calm her down.
"It's okay. We won't let anyone hurt you." I said soothingly.
"I don't want you to.... I can't.... and I won't. I'm so sorry, Nat."
"You haven't done anything wrong, okay?" Kiara looked up at me.
"You're right. Maybe I just need some rest."
"Okay, alright. Goodnight. I'll see you tomorrow." I turned around and left the room.
Loki's POV
I woke up and noticed Natasha wasn't beside me, like she had been when I fell asleep. Where is she? I thought. I heard someone coming. I tried to get up, but I was too weak.
"Loki? Are you up?" Natasha walked into the room.
"Nat! I was scared you had left me." I realised I sounded weak and hurt. Without my powers I am nobody.
"I would never leave you. Never." Nat walked over to me and hugged me. "I'm sorry I left, but i couldn't sleep and I wanted to visit Kiara."
"How is she?" I asked.
"Not very well. But let's not talk about bad things. I really need some rest right now." Nat answered.
The next day....
Bucky's POV
As soon as I woke up, I left my room to see Kiara and to tell her my plan to save her. I knocked on her door.
"Hey, Kiara, are you up yet?" No answer. "Kiara?" I slowly pushed open the door. The only thing in her room, beside her bed and desk, was a note.
