Chapter 16

*First person pov*

"Iruka!" Shino's father yelled. "I think it's time to stop lying. Naruto's no fool, our only choice is to explain the situation rationally." Iruka told Shino's father, who then shuts up. "Yeah, explain why I should sit on my ass and hide while my comrades are out there suffering and dying!" Naruto yelled, pissed off. "Because we're fighting this war to protect you!" Naruto was shocked, he wasn't expecting that answer, was he? "Madara is hitting us with the full burnt of his forces. He's determined to capture you, Cassie, and Killer B once and for all. If he gets his hands on the Hachibi and Kyuubi, and control Cassie to control the Juubi, he'll complete the technique and the world will be doomed! By protecting you guys, we'll be protecting the future itself! Yes, people are putting their lives on the line to protect you. Naruto... This battle this time is the battle with yourself... to wait, and endure it. Come on... let's go back inside you two." Iruka said, hands out his side. Naruto stayed silent, and I did too because Naruto's going to say the words that I want to say. "I'll end this war myself, I'll endure all the hate and pain on my own! That's my, no, our role!" Naruto said, glaring at everybody... he doesn't look intimidating really, his sage mode makes him look like he's wearing eyeliner. Speaking of eyeliner.... does Gaara wear eyeliner? I mean, I know he has insomnia, but I never heard your entire eyes become black like a panda! It has to be eyeliner. "ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME!? YOU HAVE THE KYUUBI IN SIDE YOU!! THIS ISN'T JUST YOUR PROBLEM, NARUTO!" Iruka yelled, trying to convince Naruto to stay. Hunny, you raising your voice won't convince Naruto to stay. "YOU WERE THE FIRST PERSON TO RECOGNIZE ME!! WHY IS IT NOW YOU'RE ONLY WORRYING ABOUT THE KYUUBI!? WHY DON'T YOU TRUST ME!!!" Naruto yelled. "STOP ACTING LIKE A BABY! YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT I REALLY THINK OF YOU!?" Iruka said, then silence settle among them. It seems like Iruka calmed down a bit. "I think you're one of my precious students... and... you're like a little brother to me." Iruka said, and Naruto looked shocked, of course. His eyeliner disappears as well his eyes revert back to it's original blue color. "The enemy leader is personally coming after you... how could I even fathom letting you out there to face him? And you're not alone.... you don't need to shoulder the entire burden yourself." Iruka said to Naruto. "I'm not a kid anymore... I'm stronger than I've ever been. You're the one who gave me that forehead protector, Iruka-sensei." Naruto said, and Iruka looked at the forehead protector on the ground that fell of Naruto's head when he was trying to get through. He stared at it, then picked it up off the ground. "Hey, Iruka..." Shino's father said as Iruka started walking towards Naruto, with his protector in hand. He held the protector out to Naruto, which he took, smiling. But then Iruka then did a hand seal, and markings appeared on the ground.... it looked like that summoning no jutsu markings. "NO! I can't let you leave!" Iruka yelled, and I realized it was a barrier. But, he should know by now that his barrier can't contain us, now can it? "Sensei... I told you, I'm way stronger than I used to be. This barrier can't hold me." Naruto said, and his tailed beast chakra cloak appeared. I decided to bring out mine as well, because I'm bored. The shadow mimic thing retracted, so it must have hit it's limit. "They broke free!" One of the Naras yelled and Shino's father put his hands out, beetles coming out of his sleeves. "Hold them!!" Shino's father yelled, and the beetles surrounded us. I covered my face, swiping at the air, trying to get the beetles away. Naruto seemed to notice I was having trouble, so he picked me up bridal style and jumped away. Naruto landed on a tree branch, then set me down. "Thanks, Naruto..." I said, and my tailed beast mode turned off along with Naruto's. "Don't mention it!" Naruto said, giving me a thumbs up. We jumped tree to tree, and Naruto puts on his forehead protector, but a slip of paper pokes out of it. Naruto takes off the paper, and it turned out to be the letter Iruka wrote him. I didn't really bother reading it, since I know the gist of what it said. After Naruto read it, he crumpled the paper up and put it in his mouth. He started chewing it... then gulped it down! He freaking ate it! "Naruto, I'm not medical expert... but I think paper is poisonous." I said, then Naruto starts sweating. "AAAAGHH! SERIOUSLY!? I CAN'T DIE NOW!!" Naruto yelled, then sticking his hands in his mouth. I sweat dropped as he tried to puke the paper out. "I was joking..." I trailed off, then Naruto playfully glared at me, with drool on his chin. "Don't do that!" Naruto shouts, and I giggled like a school girl. We were nearly at the edge of the island because of all the spikes, but I could tell there was a huge barrier. All of a sudden, I heard the wind howl behind me, so I turned around to see a massive beast bomb. We dodge the bomb barely, and it smashes the barriers like glass. We turned around to see B, of course. "They put up a barrier to keep us contained! But we're going to smash it like a window pane!" B rapped, I would have face palmed but I'm just too excited to get off this damned island. "B!" Naruto yelled, relieved. B reverts into only 7 tails so he wasn't in Gyuki form, and we climbed through the hole in the barriers. "I'll break the force field, foo'! You two push my beast bomb through!" B yelled, and we went into tailed beast chakra mode. "Aye sir!" We yelled, and we did as B said. After breaking like 5 barriers, we were out! Finally! I'm coming to kill all the Zetsu! Just wait for me!
