Chapter 23

*First person pov*

Itachi went for Naruto, trying to kick him and punch him but Naruto blocked all of his advances. "What happened to Sasuke!?" Itachi asked as his body moves on it's own. "He wants to take revenge on Konoha! He became an member of the Akatsuki!" Naruto answered as he moved his head to the side to avoid a punch. "Why... Why doesn't he go back the village!?" Itachi asked, confused. I charged at Itachi, and Naruto moved out of the way. "Lightning Dragon's Roar!!" I yelled as I aimed a lightning roar at Itachi. He dodged by jumping up, then threw kunai at me. "He was told about your top secret mission!! After he learned what you've done for the village... he decided to try and destroy the village for revenge for you and his clan!" I yelled as I dodged the kunai. Itachi had a frustrated look and Nagato looked confused. "Top secret mission?" Nagato asked. Itachi landed on the ground. "Was that... Madara?" Itachi asked us. "Yeah, he told us the truth about you as well!" Naruto yelled, as B came up behind Itachi with Samehada over his shoulder. He tried to slash at Itachi, but he jumped backwards to dodge it. He jumped back to where Nagato was, crouching looking down with his eyes closed. He looked up with a sorrowful look on his face. "I see..." Itachi said, opening his sharingan eyes. "So what Madara said is true!? The Uchiha clan tried to take over the village and you..." Naruto trailed off. "That's enough, Naruto..." Itachi said, standing up. Nagato looked over to Itachi, shock on his face. "Is that how it went!? Itachi..." Nagato trailed off, I guess he didn't have anything to say to that. "Itachi... You died playing the part of the villain to protect the village and Sasuke! I think he understands your pain and your resolve!! But instead of inheriting your will he decided to do the opposite... He wants to destroy the Leaf! He wants to avenge his older brother by crushing the village that made him suffer!!" Naruto summarized what happened while Itachi was dead. Itachi stayed silent before speaking. "Do the people of the village know this already?" Itachi asked us. "Kakashi, Yamato, and Keiko were there with us when we heard this... Even though I confirmed it was true, they didn't believe Madara unless there was proof, so Kakashi said not to talk about it. I don't think anyone else knows... unless there was some point in the past where I became a dumbass for a moment and told people." I answered Itachi. "Then never tell them! I want the Uchiha clan to maintain it's honor. In addition-" Itachi was cut off when Nagato raised his hand up. "Shit! My body's moving on it's own! Ban Shou Ten'in!" Nagato yelled, and all of a sudden my body was being pulled towards him. I don't know where it came from, but a huge freaking meteor appeared out of nowhere and I'm about to be crushed by it. I made hand seals and I put my hands out if front of me. "Fairy Sphere!" I yelled, a yellow light orb surrounds my body and I collide with the Meteor. It smashes against the shield, breaking into many pieces while the shield is still intact. The sphere disappears, and I jumped on a piece of falling debris then jumped away to the river that was next to us. "Nice counter Cassie!" Nagato yelled. "Heh, I've gotten stronger since we last fought! Besides, I just sacrificed myself! I could take you any day and come out victorious with a few scratches!" I yelled, pointing at Nagato. Okay... to be completely honest me getting defeated by him in only just few minutes after learning a new powerful jutsu stabbed my ego repeatedly, but this time! I'll defeat him! But I guess I don't really have any regrets getting defeated... I got to see Jiraiya and the others on the other side. "Hey Cassie! You alright!?" Naruto yelled, jumping to me on the river. "I'm good." I said, getting back into battle stance. "Naruto, Cassie.... I'm leaving Sasuke to you." Itachi said, and I nodded. "I was already planning on that!" Naruto answered him. "Indeed, I was right to entrust that to you two..." Itachi said, relieved. "Ok! Naruto, pull us apart first! I can't move much on my own!!" Nagato yelled, but then he crouched down. "Summoning no Jutsu!!" Nagato yelled, slamming his hand down on the ground. Two summons appeared, one two headed down and some kind of vulture. They both had piercings and had the rinnegan. "...Or maybe I can." Nagato added to his previous statement, Nagato was perched on the vulture. "I DIDN'T KNOW YOU LIKED JOKES!!" Naruto yelled, waving his arms around in a panic like form. Itachi went off to fight B, leaving us with Nagato. Naruto starts making a huge rasengan, and the oversized puppy charges at us, slobber dripping of is mouth growling. "Odama Rasengan!!" Naruto shouts, shoving it into the puppy. It gets blasted away, but it only grew 2 more heads. "Naruto! It'll never end, we have to attack Nagato! That thing only multiplies if you hit it!" I yelled, then pointing at Nagato. "Correct! Hurry and defeat me!!" Nagato yelled from his spot on the vulture, who was now flying. All of a sudden, Itachi jumped onto the bird that Nagato was on. He looked up, his right eye was mangekyou. "Uncle B, be careful!! If you get hit by the Amaterasu or Tskuyomi it's over! He's using the Mangekyou Sharingan!" Naruto yelled, getting ready to jump away when he uses the amaterasu or tskuyomi. "Let's see... what will happen." Itachi said. All of a sudden Naruto tenses up then doubles over, holding his stomach groaning. All of a sudden he opens his mouth to reveal a crow with an mangekyou sharingan... Shisui's eye. "Is this crow that times!?" Naruto somehow said with the crow still in his mouth, the crow squawking. "Good... it came out." Itachi said, staring down at Naruto... well more like the bird. I went over to the bird and pulled out the crow really fast, I didn't give Naruto a warning. "BLEEEEEGHHH!!" Naruto barfed, I must of did it too fast. The bird squirms in my arms, flapping it's arms and everything. "SQUAAAAAAAWK!" I let go, it clearly didn't like me holding it. "W....Why did I just spit out a crow..." Naruto said, tears in his eyes. I looked back at Itachi, there was blood oozing out of his right eye. "I remember... back then..." Naruto trailed off, he looked like he was remembering something. Whatever, it doesn't matter right now. The blood trickles down Itachi's cheek, and he closes his eye. "NARUTO, CASSIE!! HE'S USING AMATERASU!!" Nagato yelled... should I be worried? Really... Amaterasu isn't really a threat to me, I can just eat the flames... it tastes like takoyaki! "CRAP!!" B yelled, throwing one of his swords. I got out a kunai, then threw it at the sword so it gets knocked out of the air. "C-Cassie! Wh-What're you doing!?" Naruto shouts as I lowered my arm. "I want to eat these flames, so it'll somewhat activate my Amaterasu Dragon Slayer Mode." I told Naruto, then looked up to Itachi. But no matter how much I want it, he's not going to use Amaterasu. Itachi opened his eye, looking directly into the crow's eye. We all just stood there, looking at each other since nothing happened... or at least they think. "It's not Amaterasu...?" Nagato asked. The crow landed on Naruto's shoulder, looking back and forth between him and Itachi. "So this is how it turns out... Amaterasu!!" Itachi yelled, his eye going bloodshot as he looks at us... but it wasn't us he was looking at. It was the puppy summon we were standing on.
