Chapter 18

I woke up to the feeling of strong arms around me and the Sun shining through my curtains. It was the first night I have been nightmare free. If he keeps them away, I might just have to keep him here. I could hear the slow rythm of his breathing, he must still be asleep. I turned around slowly to face him, I still can't get over that this man is my mate, his hair was all messy but it just made him look adorable. I should of given him a chance, instead of insulting him because he was a werewolf and Alpha. I can see he has a good heart.

              I slowly traced my fingers down the side of his face while he slept, I could see a smile appear on his face and a shiver run through him as my touch caused sparks where my fingers have traced.

                                                   I could feel the energy in the room change, oh my gods, they choose now to visit, I slowly and quitely got out of bed, I picked up Trent s t shirt and put it on, just as Ares and Aphrodite appeared in the room. They both had big smiles on their faces, as they both moved around me to get a look at my mate. I shooed the out of the room, incase Trent woke up, to see two gods standing there looking at him. I brought them downstairs before they started to talk.

"Oh Athena, he is so handsome, you could almost believe he is a god with those looks and his strong body. Did you finally accept him? " Aphrodite asked.

"Yes I did, I think I judged him to quickly, after finding out who his father is" I said.

"He is a good, strong leader, he has the heart of a warrior, he always seeks for the truth, and will deal with situation, without been bias, I could teach him alot, you don't see men like him anymore, you have a good mate Athena" Ares said with a smile.

"Anyway, where is our hugs?" Aphrodite asked with her arms open and stretched out.

I walked towards them, and was crushed into a hug from both of them, I always feel safe in their arms, every since I was a child.I pulled away and smiled at them.

"So what brings you visiting so early in the morning?" I asked with smile.

They both started to look around them, anywhere really, but not at me. I started to tap my foot, and smiled at them.

"okay,okay, we came to visit because we could sense you accepted your mate, we were just curious to what he was like, and with Ares been able to tell what he was like as a leader and me been able to tell what his heart shows, we thought we would come to make sure he deserved our beautiful daughter" Aphrodite explained.

           

                          

"So, did he pass your tests?"  I asked.

"He passed with flying colours"  Aphrodite said.

"Are you going to tell him who your parents are? and about your bloodline to us? Ares asked.

"I'm not sure what to do, I hope I can trust him, but I do know he will start asking soon what I am, when he can't sense what I am or get a scent" I said.

"You can trust him Athena, he loves you so much already, he would die to protect you in a heart beat, he is a good man" Ares said.

"Its going to be hard to tell him, I have never let anyone close enough to me to ever tell them who I really am, how do I tell him about my parents, when his father was part of the group that killed them" I said.

"That is what we have come to talk about aswell,  things aren't as straight forward as we first thought, there is something that is not fitting into what has happened. Look into the coven, and their actions, when they are away from the pack, especially the leader of the coven, Daniel, be very careful Athena, and keep yourself, alert when you are around them, they are extremely dangerous" Ares said.

"I will be careful, I have heard of  Daniel already, from another vampire, but if there is something else going on, I will find out what it is!" I said.

"Good Athena, we better go, your mate is waking up, he is panicking, he thinks you have changed you mind and left" Aphrodite laughed.

"I love you's and I will see you soon" I said giving them a hug.

The vanished just as quickly as they appeared. I grabbed to bottles of orange juice, and headed back upstairs to reassure my mate, I haven't left. I walked into my room, and saw Trent rushing around the room, trying to get dressed, I stayed leaning against my door frame, he hasn't even noticed me standing there yet.

                After a couple of minutes watching him, I coughed a little to get his attention. He stopped looking around and turned towards me, and let out a sigh of relief. I put the drinks down, as he checked me out from head to toe, his eyes darkened with lust, as he made his way towards me.

      He cupped my face into his hands, and crashed his lips to mine, as sparks exploded between us, he pushed us against my wall, and he pressed his body closer to mine, he dropped his hands from my face and slowly trailed them down my body, he grabbed my ass and lifted me up, and I wrapped my legs around his waist, pulling him closer to me. He turned us around, and started walking towards my bed and gently laid us down, never breaking contact from our lips.

" What are you Athena? I have never seen anyone to heal as quick as what you did, your stomach is perfect, like nothing has happened, it would take me, am alpha, and a strong one, at least two day, not a few hours to heal." he said.

I took a deep breath, as I thought of what I'm going to do, tell him the truth or only part of it, this will make or break us.
