Chapter 39

It has been a couple of weeks of peace since Eva and Casey have gone, to say the Jakes pack was shocked is an understatement, they were shunned the minute they walked through the door, none of their friends acknowledge them other than to give them death glares. Jake didn't want them there any longer than necessary, so he mindlinked his closet friends to pack up their belongings and leave them outside the pack house,  they were only allowed in the pack house to say good bye to their families, well the ones that wanted to speak to them, their family felt humiliated by their actions, especially Casey's father who has been Beta for years, she brought shame on their families, know one has ever had the moon goddess come and judge members of their pack before and to then take their wolves, that alone shows what a disgrace, they are.

               They even stooped so low as to threaten their own family along with the pack, saying  "You will all pay for this! I guarantee it, even if its the last thing we do, we will get revenge". The pack knew then for defiante, Artemis, made the right decision. It has been so nice just to spend time with Trent, without having to worry about anyone trying to tear us apart, I feel like everything is falling into place, I made a great friend with Leah, its like I have known her for years. I have even brought her to Olympus to meet the gods, Aphrodite was delighted that I had made such a good friend, Ares was also happy, but mostly because I am getting to live some semblance of a normal life, well as normal as I can get.

                                                     Trent has been acting weird all morning, its like he is trying to avoid me at all costs, but I dont understand why, I woke up this morning to find him gone, when he normally wakes me up, to say goodbye and kiss me. He left a note on my pillow instead telling me to get dressed up, that he has a long over due surprise for me later, every time I have tried to ask him about it he has changed the conversation really quickly or had to suddenly leave. I know he is up to something, but what I dont know. A knocking on my door pulls me from my thoughts as Leah comes flying into the room with a big smile on her face, without saying hello.

" Hey girly, grab your bag and phone, were going to have a girls day full of shopping and pampering, courtesy of you lovely mate" she said with a beaming smile.

"What are you two up too, he has been acting weird and now this, spill" I said.

"I don't what you are talking about, who's acting weird? " she said.

"Hmmm, sure you dont" I said, knowing full well that I'm not going to get it out of her.

"Okay, lead the way" I said, following her out the door, grabbing my bag and phone on the way.

After half an hour, of singing along to Tinie Tempah and laughing at our terrible singing, were nearly at our destination, the one thing about Leah is her good moods are infectious, we reined in our singing as we pulled up outside the mall, we decided that we should go to the spa after shopping, I will need it the way Leah shops, she has to go to every shop before she buys something. I didn't really know what to buy for tonight, all Leah told me was that it needed to look amazing, so Im going to leave it to her capable hands, she seems to know what the surprise is. Leah grabbed my hand dragging me to the first clothes shop we saw. After an hour of having dress after dress thrown at me, we still haven't found the perfect dress and we can't buy shoes til the dress is found.

                                                      There is only two more shops left to go, so I begging the gods that there is something in the last two because I know once we find it we have to go back to every shoe shop. We are now walking towards one of the last shops. But just as im about to enter the shop, I could feel a shiver go down my spine, like someone is watching me, I turned around and scanned through the crowd trying to see who caused it, but there was know one looking in my direction or anyone that screamed out dangerous, I brushed it off, I must be imagining it, I blame the non stop shopping. I followed after Leah into the shop, hanging up straight in front of me is the perfect dress with Leah standing beside it smiling, she obviously thought the same, it is beautiful. It is a white lace figure hugging strapless dress that goes down a little past my knees and right beside it are the perfect shoes to go with it. They are white peep toe with crystal on them making them sparkle and have a 5 inch heel.
