" Come on, tell meee," she asked.
" Kay fine, maybe I like Faith," I lied to her.
Faith was this girl in my class that nearly every boy had a crush on. She is nice and really pretty, she had a great personality and her voice was enchanting.
" Are u serious?!?!" Amy practically yelled over the phone.
" Duh," I replied.
"I'm so gonna tell her!" she threatened while giggling.
" No please don't!" I begged her while laughing along with her.
" Why not ??" she asked.
" Because when Lily figured out that I liked her, she hated me," I reminded her.
" Oh yeah..." Amy said. " Sorry..."
" Nevermind," I said. " why do you sound so worried?"
" It's nothi-" She was suddenly cut off.
" What happened??" I practically yelled into the phone. " Hello?"
" Miss me??" I heard a familiar voice greet from the other end.
" ..... Janet.....?" I asked unsurely.
" Who else do you think I am?? " She said in a mocking 'you-don't-say?' tone.
" Oh, hey.." I said to her unsurely.
" What's wrong??" She asked.
" Nothing, it's just... I miss you.... Very badly..." I said hesitantly.
" ..." We didn't say anything for what felt like hours.
" So do I..." She said, breaking the silence.
"Where have you been?? I haven't been able to contact you at all.." I asked.
"I've been.. Busy.. Sorry for that..." She said quietly.
"OMG JANET GIVE ME BACK MY PHONE ALREADY!!" I heard Amy yell over the phone.
"Sorry, gotta run! Bye Al-!" I heard her say before I heard some static-ish sound come from the other end.
After awhile I heard Amy on the other end.
"Alex?? You still there??" She asked.
"Yeah, still here," I replied.
"Sorry, Janet stole my phone just now,"" She told me.
"Haha yeah I could tell," I said.
"Where were we??" she asked.
"I can't remember lol," I told her.
"Whatever then," she said. "What do you think about Wesley so far??"
"To be honest? It's okay I guess," I said. "It's different here. I guess it's better here cause I know you now," I said to her.
"Aww, that's sweet!!" She said. "Thanks" she said.
"Your welcome," I told her.
"Ooh damn, my parents are home. I have to go. Talk tomorrow?"
"Sure," I said.
"Kay then. Bai!!" She said.
"Bye!!" I said before she hung up.
I checked our call time. Apparently we had been talking for hours!! Damn. Time sure flies when you're having fun.
