Chapter sixteen:

Zayn's POV:

I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in"

I said.

Cassie walked in. Ugh.

"What do you want"

I asked kind of rudely.

"Why are you ignoring me?"

She asked.

Shit how am I supposed to answer this?

"You think you can get all romantic with Niall and then kiss me?!"

That way apparently.

"Niall? He was comforting me in a brotherly way. He saw I was upset and he wanted to be nice!"

"You know he likes you."

What?!"

Crap. I just said that out loud.

"Uhh as a friend"

"why do I not believe you Malik?"

"Oh so I'm Malik now? Alright Payne"

I smirked.

"Yes you are Malik now. Stop trying to change the subject!"

"I'm not!"

I lied.

I was trying to change the subject becuase I was not supposed to tell anybody let alone Cassie that Niall liked her!

"Well it sounded like it! Does he really like me? I might like him. But as a friend! Do you like me? 'Cause I like you."

She just kept talking about how much she liked me.

Does she realise that she is saying all this outloud? I needed to stop her talking before she embarrased herself even more so I did the one thing I was absolutely sure would work, I kissed her.

Cassie's POV:

"Does he really like me? I might like him. But as a friend! Do you like me? 'Cause I like you."

I just kept going on and on about how much I liked Zayn.

Yes I know he is sitting right there and listening to me! I just couldn't stop talking. My brain wasn't connecting to my mouth, my brain wanted to stop but my mouth kept running.

All of a sudden I felt Zayn's lips crash against mine.
