I ran out the door and up the driveway. Before I had left I put my actual school stuff under my bed, if I had it on top Caroline would wonder why I took my backpack. I went down the gravel road waiting a minute to go into the forest. Somebody was there, she was booking it down the road screaming. She saw me and pulled me into the forest. I had no clue who she was but we were in a log and she didn't say a word. A car went zooming by.

"Thank You so much." She quietly whispered. "What was that?!" I asked quietly. "Crazy, I don't know what happened." She replied looking through a hole. "My name is Erin, what's in your backpack, you're not one of those kids who prank people?" She looked at me her face ready to anger. "No! I.. I was going to the woods. I'm new here.".

"Can we come out now?" We were in really close quarters and I barely knew Erin. "Do you trust me" She asked. "Er... Yes?" We wiggled out of the log and she grabbed my hand, we ran into the forest and through the trees. It felt as though she had done this before. It looked like it was about 4:00. I had about 2 and a half hours. She pulled me through one last tree into a big space. It had two trees that connected with a little zipline and a hanger. "Do you come here often?"

"Yeah." She went quiet. But still hadn't let go of my hand, she pulled me over to the little ladder up to the tree. She had done this all by hand or someone had. It was all made from sticks and and rocks. The zipline was a hanger and some wire from a local market. She was smart, and fun. We went up the ladder and into the tree, I had to be really careful with the egg which Erin still didn't know about.

I put it on the ground and played on the zipline for what felt like a single minute, but was actually an hour. I needed to look at the egg. But how, Erin would think I was crazy.
