Erin went down the zip line laughing. She close her eyes, so I booked it. I really needed to get out and cheek the egg. I really did like Erin, and it was hard to leave her. I kept running, to the forest near my house. I sat down once I was near the house in case I needed to run home. I pulled the egg out. It felt heavier, was it growing? What was inside it! I wondered if it would hatch or if I would need to crack it somehow. I think, If it stops getting bigger, for three weeks, I will crack it. I don't want to harm whatever is inside. I hear a strange noise, I look to the left, right, in front. I slowly look behind me. Another noise, this time louder. I quickly put the egg in my bag. A third thump.This one the loudest. I pick up the bag and take a step back. CRACK! I broke a twig, ROAR! I turn around to see what I had stepped into, a bear! I ran so fast I didn't think I would ever breathe again. And then, I couldn't. I didn't know what was happening. I couldn't move or breathe, I could see the house off in the distance. I wasn't able to move, I couldn't-
