I walked out of the cabin and locked the door. I would miss Caroline and mom, and Lizzy, and Katie. Wow, I'm the second guy to leave the family, this makes it even harder to leave. I should go to see Erin, maybe she took the Egg. I pulled out my knife because I had to go back to where the bear attacked me first. The wet leaves were sprayed across the woods, waiting for a dry leave to crunch, and send the Bears coming. I knew how to fish, so if I was gone for a really long time, then I could fish for food. I don't know what it was about the egg that made it so special. I was like no other, it was alone.
I walk to my attack spot. No egg, but I know I need to hide, Caroline will find me soon. She's like a mini mom, I don't know what it is about her. She has a very strong maternal instinct. Now it's time to look for Erin. I know she took the egg.
I run across the 4 lane road that's been empty for a while. Just in case though, I ran and hid in that log.
"AHHH" "AHHH" "SHHHHH" Erin was in there! Thank god, I didn't know how I was going to find her. "LUKE?!" She whisper screamed. "Erin?! YOU HAVE MY BACKPACK!" She looked stunned. "Yeah I do."
