[6] How long baby have I been away?

           "Look!" Wendy and Natsu both look up at EdoLucy's cry. "She even has the same body as me!"
           "DAH! Don't go outside looking like that!!" Lucy cried, wrapping a towel around her counterpart. They where in the next town over, Sikka, and had gotten a hotel room to crash in. Of course, Lucy and EdoLucy decided to take a bath, which would explain why both of them were half-naked. 
            "EdoLucy-san! Natsu-san's in here!" Wendy cried. 
     The Lucy counterpart snorted. "Like I care!"

            "I do!"
            "The doublucies sure are lively." Happy commented. 
            "Do you. . .think you said something clever right now?" Charle wondered. Natsu watched the twins with narrowed eyes and leaned forward. EdoLucy must've gotten the wrong message since she started to mess with the edge of her towel.
            "What, Natsu, you want to see?" She teased. 
            "STOP!!!" 
     Suddenly, Natsu covered his mouth to stop himself from laughing. "Wh. . .What's so funny, huh?" Lucy put her hands on her hips. "I get it. . .You just barely kept in some comment about how EdoLucy has a better body than me."

            "Don't bath with yourself!" He finally spitted out, snickering. Both Lucy's paled and shadows covered their eyes. 
            "Now that he mentions it. . ."
            "No, really, there's no way to tell you guys apart." Wendy chimes in, looking at the duo.

            "To think our butts would even be the same shape." EdoLucy exclaimed.  

   Lucy covered her behind, blushing a bit. "Don't say stuff like that!" As if Natsu got a good idea, a light bulb appeared over his head and he beamed. 
             "You can do a mirror mimicry skit!" He suggests. 

             "I'm not doing that!" They both shouted.  
             "Ahh. . .Even their breath are the same." Wendy sweat dropped. 
             "It's quite sad."

    EdoLucy put a hand under her chin before turning towards Lucy. "You. . .Don't have some kind of spirit that can change your hair, do you?"

             "Yeah. . .Cancer?"
     Not even a few minutes later, EdoLucy had a new haircut. It was bobbed off, barely touching her chin. "Is this to your liking, Ebi?" Caner questioned. 
             "Yep! This will fix all the confusion." 
             "Are you sure its alright? It took me years to get it as long as it is now. . ." Lucy trailed. 
             "Hm? Is there some kind of custom about treasuring ones hair in Earthland?" EdoLucy teased lightly.
             "Well. . .I guess all girls are like that." Cancer answered. 

              "Girls, huh?" EdoLucy rubbed the back of her neck, in thought. After a moment, she spoke her thoughts.  "In this world, its become ridiculous to think terms by men and women. We're all desperate to survive, ya know?"
              "But everyone in the guild looks like their enjoying themselves." Happy pointed out. 

              "Of course they do. If you don't manage to smile somehow, your heart will break in a snap. Also, there are people in this world that needs us. That's why. . .even if we fall into darkness, we are a guild, and will continue." EdoLucy explained. 
        Natsu watched the scene with a kind smile. 
              "But that alone isn't enough. . ." She whispered, frowning. 
              "Eh?"
              "Nah. . .Nothing." EdoLucy brushed it off.

              "What is this?! " Lucy screeched the next morning. She clutched a paper note in her hand. "I can't believe this!!"
               "You're really wound up this early." Natsu commented groggily, rubbing his eye. 
               "What's wrong?" Happy yawned. 
               "The Edolas me ran away!" Lucy explained furiously, passing the note to Natsu. The dragon slayer read it quickly before putting the note down. 
           The Royal City is a three days' walk. I'm going back to the guild. See ya, good luck!
