TFP
Chapter 7
Cedric raced towards the assassins tower. Xavier would be there. He was always there. Cedric couldn't even imagine what he was doing to Max. He just hoped he was okay. Anyways, when he got there, the guards saw him and reached towards their swords, but Cedric unsheathed his quicker than them and stabbed them through the chest. He stepped inside cautiously, putting his sword in front of him. *clang*. Metal clashed against metal. Cedric just blocked the sword strike that fell from the sky. He steadied his sword and. looked up at his foe. It was Max, but not Max. He had dark blue skin and midnight black hair. He had fangs for teeth and his mouth was foaming. His eyes were blood red and wild. His blade was black and had no handle, but was coming out of the back of his hand.
"Max," Cedric exclaimed. "What... What the hell happened to you?"
Instead of talking back, Max lashed out. Cedric blocked and slashed. Max jumped out of the way and morphed his sword into a and giant battle axe. He swung and just missed Cedric, who quickly jumped back. "Gavata!" A spiral of wind sprung out of Cedric's hand and blew Max back into the wall. It didn't hurt him as much as it annoyed him. He sprung towards Cedric, who was a bit surprised that he didn't stay down so he blocked on instinct, and Max hit the sword out of his hand. It slid across the floor at 3 feet away from him. He started to speak a spell, but Max kicked him in the stomach and knocked him to the floor. Cedric tried to get back up, but grabbed his chest in pain. He was still suffering from the chest wound Nathan gave him. Max brought down the axe and Cedric weakly rolled out of the way.
'Godefâta LE plma! " Yelled Cedric.
He made a fist and a gold aura surrounded it. He ran up and punched Max right in the heart. A flash if light covered the room, then faded. The blue on Max's skin peeled off and so did the axe. It went up into the sky and disappeared. Max fell to the floor out cold. Cedric dragged him over to a corner.
"Don't worry," he whispered to Max. "You'll be okay."
Then Cedric grabbed his sword and rushed up the spiral stairs to Xavier's office. He sliced and guards neck open on the way and continued without even breaking pace. He smashed the door to Xavier's office open and stepped in. He raised his sword excepting a fight, but no one was there.
'Weird.' Thought Cedric.
Then a black streak wizzed by him.
"Woah," Cedric cried out. "What was that?!"
Then it flashed by again, and he felt a pain in his side. He looked at his side to see a gash on his hip.
"Iratikàl et doutê!" Cedric shouted at the figure. The ice hit its foot and froze it on spot. The figure turned out to be Xavier in a black cloak.
"So Cedric," he said as he tried to get his foot unfroze. "Did you like what I did to your friend?"
"Actually,no." Cedric said. "But I think you'll be glad to see that Max has returned to normal."
Xavier's mouth fell open.
"But I used the darkest of magic to turn him into that beast... How could It be?"
Cedric held out his hand and a golden fireball floated above his palm. He closed his hand, dispersing the fireball, and ran towards Xavier, ready to hack and slash. But when they were talking, Xavier got his foot free without Cedric knowing. Cedric swung his sword at Xavier's head but the older man deflected it and slashed at Cedric's side. It opened an older wound that hadn't quite healed and hot blood poured out on Xavier's floor.
"Gavata." Cedric said weakly.
A blast of wind sent Xavier into a wall. He smashed into it and it broke the wall, sending him out the other side.
"Lîveta." Cedric muttered.
He raised his hand over his chest, and then his side. The wounds closed up instantly. Cedric ran and jumped out of the building. Xavier was standing up, calmly brushing dirt of his pants. Cedric unleashed a stream of fire at him but Xavier quickly stepped to the side and ran at the boy. He swung his sword and It clashed with Cedric's, sending sparks all over the place. Cedric punched at him but Xavier caught his fist, spun him around and threw him into a house. Cedric smashed into the obsidian wall, somehow not breaking his back, and fell onto the ground. He weakly stood up, swaying where he stood. Xavier dropped his blade and ran towards the boy. He then began punching him with inhuman sipped all over his body. Cedric, bruises and blood covering himself, fell to the ground unconscious.
"Assassins!," Xavier called. "This is the day when we attack the kingdom and I take the throne. We will have to take the long way around, which will take about 3 days. But trust me, my brothers, it shall be worth it."
The assassins cheered and cried out. They all grabbed their weapons an their bag, then matched off.
"Excuse me, but I need you three to take Cedric to the dungeon and guard him to make sure he doesn't escape." Xavier ordered.
Then, he walked away with the rest of the assassins.
Authors note: £ Hey guys just a few things. This is the last chapter of TFP until at least one person votes for me and until I get at least one follower. After that I really hope you will follow and vote for me on your own. Now, next. Should I delete The Masters of Aura. Because I have another idea for a book about kids who can control the elements. So yeah. Just message me and tell me.
So, 1 follower and 1 vote, thanks. £. Picture of Cedric Belrose and his sword on the side.
