31: Screaming Bullets

Chapter 31:

"What's with the trailer?" Louis says to the kid driving.

I look back, there is a big truck with the trailer, completely surrounded by the Dragons on their motor cycles.

"They probably locked Allie back there."

This kid was obviously scared of Louis, or at least intimidated.

"We have to stop." Louis grabs the door handle, ready to jump out.

All the men who were in the truck had a gun and multiple other weapons. They all reloaded, and the truck spun off on to the side of the road.

It took a few seconds before the dust around us had cleared, but we could hear many motorcycle and car engines coming to a stop and men yelling at each other.

"Stay in here," he points to Cyndi, Hailey, and I. "We don't need anything to happen to any of you."

Suddenly more cars from the direction we were driving enter the scene.

I can faintly hear Louis outside, screaming.

"Where is Allie?!" He screeched.

I looked out the window, only to find Allie wrapped completely in a huge bag and tied in ropes.

She was upright and they had a gun to her head.

Looking around the area, I see Harry and Zayn. I guess he was part of the Fallen too.

I wonder where Liam was.

I watch carefully, just barely peeking over the window.

Cyndi, shakes my arm. "Elizabeth!"

"Shhhh"

Hailey was on the far right, crouched down in front of the seat, breathing loudly.

There is a lot of commotion, and I don't care what Cyndi is trying to tell me.

"You guys don't like me," Hailey starts talking, "I'm really not a bad person."

Cyndi squints her eyes and shakes her head at her.

"Why are we talking about this NOW?"

"I don't want you guys-"

She is cut off by the sound of guns firing and men screaming.

We all get down on the floor of the truck in the fetal position and cover ourselves with the blankets.
