Chapter 2:
*Beep, beep, beep*
I moan and squirm around.
I look up and I see someone looking over me.
"Liam?"
"Sweetheart your in the hospital, you got into a car accident."
He kissed my forehead, sending shivers down my spine.
I don't feel too hurt except for a little bit of a head ache.
I look deep into his eyes and he half smiles at me, "come here" he says as he scoops me up and sits in the chair beside the hospital bed.
"Elizabeth, your mom.. She um." He says as tears crystallize his brown eyes.
"She's not ok, she.. she's not with us anymore." He squeezes me tighter in his arms.
I feel my eyes go wide as tears trail down my cheeks, this is all my fault.
If I wouldn't have gotten so drunk, my mom would be alive.
I feel the guilt set in as I am overcome with emotions and sadness.
Liam stands up, still holding me as I straddle him with my face in the crook of this neck and his arms around my back.
"Let's go home.." He whispers to me quietly.
