*Celina's POV*

"Who are you!?" I exclaim as I roll my eyes at the horrible joke.

"Why, hello Celina. I've heard a lot about you. My name is Diana, nice to meet you," a woman in a green dress with little flowers on the dress struts into the room. She has shiny emerald hair with grass, green eyes. Her hair is curly and long and she wears a rose on the side of her head. Her skin is the color of an olive and her lips are thick with red lipstick. For once something is a different color on her.

"What do you want from me?" I cry out. She smiles, satisfied that I'm suffering from the tight vines.

"Well, I want what every monster wanted. To kill you!" She yells and then laughs maniacally. I cringe at the horrible sound.

"Geez, your laugh is pretty bad," I murmur under my lips.

"What did you just say?" she says slowly as she snaps her fingers. The vines tighten up and I gasp in agony. I can't hold out much longer.

"I'm sorry! Just please loosen the vines for me," I plead as the vines tighten again. I scream out loud, hoping that Curzon would come and help me. In the meanwhile, I tried to burn the vines with my fire powers. The vines didn't show a single scorched mark. They were too strong to be cut now.

"Aww. Your friend won't come to help," Diana tells me as she examines her nails.

"What?" I ask nervously. "What did you do to him?!" I demand, trying to ignore the pain of the tight vines.

"Oh, well he's busy fighting a monster of his own," Diana says casually. "Do you remember that monster you defeated earlier?" she asks. I nod my head. She turns toward me and looks me straight in the eye. "Well, that monster has 3 lives. It's going to take him a while to defeat the extra two lives," She inclines.

"No!" I yell. What if something happens to him? I can't leave him alone. She turns around for a minute so I try my power again, this time at full force. The green vines stay chained to me. Diana turns around and noticed a little fire which dissipates a moment too late.

"You were trying to use your magic?" she questions with a raised eyebrow. "Hahaha don't make me laugh! Trying to burn those vines will only be a futile attempt. Those are especially made for fire users. They are fire-proof," she explains with a sly smile. I sigh. You should've told me sooner. I thought. "You tried to escape, so now it's time to kill you!" she cries out and thrusts her hands at me. The vines squeeze me so tightly, that my blood seemed to stop circulating. I screamed in pain. Stars were starting to show in my vision. I was going to die! Then, there were more vines shooting up and started to cover up my body.

"You're...going.....t-o.....suffocate..me...too?" I manage to say, hissing through my teeth.

"Yes! How did you know?" she asks with a sarcastic hint of shock in her voice. She giggles as she takes out a mirror and examines her makeup. I would've made a snarky remark about her actions in the middle of a crisis scene but I can't breathe. I gasp heavily trying to get as much air as I could. My body aches and suddenly I feel a warm liquid drip down from my wrists. The grip has gotten So strong that it have me a cut! My vision becomes clouded and My head lolls to the side. I'm going to die. Nothing will save me now. I think as my eyes drift close. However, as I'm about to say goodbye to life, the vines suddenly let go of me and I feel a sudden chill of an icy wind. I collapse toward my bed and don't even have the strength to get up. I wheeze to get oxygen into my lungs. The last thing I see is Diana screaming horrifically and falling to her knees. Then, darkness...

*Curzon's POV*

I quickly run toward Celina's room. I heard a scream from there a while ago but was caught up in a fight with the monster that somehow broke through my ice trap. Turns out, he's afraid of water.

I see a lady in a green dress looking at herself in the mirror as Celina hangs helplessly from a rope of vines holding her tight. They are squeezing the life out of her! I need to do something. I blast an ice blizzard to the vines and they immediately blew away. I caught the nature monster by surprise and blasted her with an ice shard. It pierced her skin and she fell to her knees, screaming So horrendously that I cover my ears.

I step over the monster and run to Celina. Her body is lifeless on the bed and her wrists and ankles are dripping with blood.

"How long were you up there?" I mumble to myself more than to her. I pick her up with my arm under her neck and my other arm rested underneath her legs and carry her to my room. She stirs a bit but I hear moan in pain. My steps become faster as I near the doorway to my room. All of the medical equipment was in my room and I didn't trust leaving Celina with that monster. Even if it had been disposed of.

Thankfully the doorway is open and I enter the room. I gently place Celina onto the bed and rush over to the cabinet next to my closet. Opening the doors wide, I find the medical supplies and rush over to Celina. I open the case and I grab the medicine for the wounds. Gently, I dab the medicine around her wrists and ankles. I hear her groan and She tried to move away from me because of the pain, but with my other hand, I hold her into place. I grab her on the arm to keep her from moving away. Then, I snatch the soft, white bandages from the kit and wrap them around her injuries. I finish treating her and close the kit shut. I stride over to the cabinet and place it in. Then, I shut the cabinet doors and walk back over to Celina. I grab a chair in the room and set it beside the bed. I sit down.

As I was waiting for her to wake up, I had two questions in mind. Why couldn't Celina fight against the vines like I did? They seemed flimsy enough. The second question is, Will we be able to stay here longer now that monsters know where we are? I have a feeling it's time to find a new home.
