Chapter 12

Nialls POV:

"What should I get her?" I ask Macy. Macy, Calum, Luke, Emily and myself were all at a mall buying Jo her birthday gift and a gift since she is in the hospital. The bad thing is she still hasn't woke up which means soon she'll be in a coma.

"Well she's obsessed with Cody Simpson and Taylor Swift." Macy tells me.

"No shit." I reply. I'm moody and I know it but I've slept in a hospital chair for two nights and it isn't the easiest place to fall asleep in.

"God, your more moody than I am on my period." Emily says. I roll my eyes and look through some bracelets when I run across one where you add charms. There is already a musical note one so I could by a few more.

"What about this?" I hold up the charm bracelet.

"Yes!" Macy chants. I keep it in my hand and look at all the charms. I grab a hamburger charm, a heart charm, a infinity sign charm and a Taylor Swift charm. She ought to like that.

"Niall, lay off the love stuff." Luke teases. I like Luke but he is annoying as hell.

"Shut up. It's better than anything you'd get Emily."

"Watch it." Luke warns.

"Guys lay it off. Niall I think it's sweet." Macy says calming the tension. I roll my eyes and walk away to a clothing store. When I walked in I realized that its not just a clothing store, it's a customize store.

I walk around the racks and find a few shorts, sweat pants, yoga pants and shirts that look about Jo's size. I walk up to the lady behind the counter and ask, "Would I be able to get these customized in Taylor Swift and Cody Simpson?"

"Yes sir. Do you have a specific way you want them customized?"

"Nope. Just in Taylor Swift and Cody Simpson."

"Make a pile of the ones you want Cody and the ones you want Taylor." I nod and I do what she says.

"There ya go. How much will it be?"

"152." Damn! Whatever I put her in the hospital and se deserves so much more. I swipe my card and wait for what the lady says next.

"Come back tonight at 5 and they should be done." She smiles and I nod before leaving.

My phone vibrates in my pocket and its a text message from Calum.

Calum: Dude, where'd u run off 2?

Me: Srry. Going home to shower and get refreshed before going back to the hospital.

Calum: do u think she is gonna wake up?

Me: I hope so if she doesn't then I will go crazy.

Calum: young love! lol well okay see ya later man

Me: yup

I should tell my mum where I've been anyways because I've been dodging her calls for the past two days.

I arrive at the house and walk in with my mother sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee.

"Niall James Horan! Where har you been? And why haven't you answered my calls?" She yells at me getting up from the couch.

"I was at the hospital okay! The girl I love got in accident because of me and now she is in the hospital UNCONSCIOUS!" I yell back. I'm so tired from sleeping in the hospital chair and I don't want to deal with anyone or anything right now.

"Love?" She pointed it out to me that I said love.

"Damn, I don't know. I.. UGH." I run my fingers through my hair.

"Son, you know you can talk to me." My mum says rubbing my back in a soothing tone.

"What the hell is going on in here?" It's Harry. Just wonderful, why is he even here and not with a girl?

"None of your damn business." I fire back.

"Jesus, I was just wanting to know why your basically crying over there." He is laughing at me and I've had enough. I jump at him and put my fist to his face. He wasn't expecting it so it knocked him down for now. He gets up and connects his fist to my jaw. I shove him down and beat the hell out of face.

"What the hell is going on?!" Harry's father yells tearing me and Harry apart.

"Ask your fucking son!" I scream and run up to my small room. I need to relax. I take a hot shower to relax my tense muscles before doing anything else. I change into a white tee and jeans. It's about 4:30 so soon I should go back to the mall. Might as well go now because its a 45 min drive. I put on my red SnapBack, grab my phone and Jo's charm bracelet with the charms on the bracelet.

The drive wasn't bad I just can't stop worrying about Jo, what if she.... dies? No, she won't, she can't.

When I get into the store I find the lady that I spoke to earlier. "Umm... hi. I'm here to pick up my-"

"Your the young man from earlier! Yes! Yes, well your things are done. Let me go fetch them from the back." The lady says before disappearing. When she comes back she hands me two bags with everything I ordered.

"Thanks." I smile and walk away. Now time to find stuff to put her gifts in. I go to the birthday area and find a bag that says Happy Birthday and I grab tissue paper. Now for a card. I don't want anything too much nor too little. Hmmm.... Here's one for her being in the hospital and here's one that'll do fine for her birthday.

I pay for the items and I begin to walk outside. My phone rings and I answer it continuing walking. "Hello?"

"Hey Bro!"

"Oh, hey Greg. I'm a little busy right now." I say struggling to hold all of the bags.

"Mum told me you have a girlfriend already! I told you America would be good for you."

"She isn't my girlfriend, she is my friend. Her names Jo."

"Jo?"

"Yes, isn't that what I just said?" I'm getting annoyed with him. "I'm going to go." I hang up before he can say anything else.

People just can't mind their own damn business can they?
