Chapter 26

Some of the chapters tonight will be really short but I'm trying to update a lot! :P

"That was a great movie!" I say walking out of my favorite theater. We just watched Mama and it is honestly more sad than scary. Niall seems distracted though, and he keeps texting someone. Probably his mom. He's even texting her right now. "Niall. Wasn't that a great movie." I sound annoyed this time.

He shoves his phone in his pocket before answering. "Uh yeah. The ending threw me off."

"Like you even watched the movie."

"I watched the movie." I look at him and can't be mad anymore. "Anyway, where would you like to eat at babe." I'm shocked by his use of words but I kinda like it.

"What?"

"Where do you want to eat at."

"No, you called me babe." I look up at him and smile.

"Yeah, it just kinda slipped out. Sorry." He messes with his ear.

"It's okay. I like it." I take his hand in mine while we walk to his car. When we get in the car we sit there trying to decide where to eat.

"How about that one restaurant down the street." Niall suggests.

"Ponderosa?"

"Yeah that one." There he goes again with his phone. I roll my eyes and choose to ignore it.

"Okay. We can eat there." He sits his phone on his lap before putting the car in drive. He drives to Ponderosa and the parking lot is filled.

"I'll go check if they have any tables." Niall gets out of the car and goes into the building only to return moments later. He opens the door and sits down. "I'm sure as hell not waiting 45 minuets for a god damned table."

"Lets just eat at McDonalds." I suggest. Yeah I wanted tonight to be romantic but I don't want him to get too mad about such a small thing.

"You sure? I can try to find somewhere else."

"It's fine." I reassure him. He shrugs and drives the car.

I look out the window and watch the lights from cars pass. We get to McDonalds and go in. It's kind of weird considering we're walking in McDonalds in nice clothes but I'm really hungry.
