Part 6

Angel's pov

"I think this two bedroom is perfect for me and micah" I said walking around the vacant condo. While micah was spending time with his dad I went house hunting. Now that I had a good paying job I could afford to buy my own place. I knew my mom didn't mind me and micah living with her but I just felt like it was time to branch out on my own.

"Babe you know you and micah are more than welcome to stay with me. I really don't see the sense in buying a brand new condo when I have more than enough space" aiden said.

I roll my eyes. Ever since I told aiden about my plan to move he's been nagging me nonstop to move in with him. " for the last time I'm not moving in with you. First off Its inappropiate to have my son living with my boyfriend. I don't want him confused about anything and second king would have a fit " I told him.

Aiden sucked his teeth. " who cares about what king feels. He didn't care about your feelings when he cheated and got jessica pregnant" he said.

"Why do you keep bringing that up you know that's a sensitive topic for me. And that's not the only reason I refuse to movr in with you. We're not ready for that step yet and you pushing it is only making me pull back more" I said.

There was a long silence before he spoke again." I know what this is really about. Your not over king and your using micah as an excuse to cover it up" he said angrily.

His theory was so ridiculous I almost laughed in his face." It has nothing to do with king. This is about me and my son starting our lives together. My son comes first over everything and that's never changing. Also you need to accept the fact that king will always be in my life because of our child. And if you can't come to terms with that then maybe we need to end this thing between us. Because I'm tired of going over the same thing all the time" I said bluntly.

Aiden wore a shocked expression. Before he had a chance to respond the real estate lady appeared." So miss carter. What do you think of the condo?" She asked.

I gave aiden one last look before giving her my full attention. " I love it. Where do I sign?"

After signing off on the condo me and aiden went our seperate ways. I felt a little bad that i went off on him but it needed to be said.

After changing clothes I headed to work. On the drive there I called king to check up on micah. He told me he was sleep and that he would call me when he woke up.

15 minutes later I arrived at work. As soon as I stepped I'm the building my co worker/ friend blair was all over me. " finally ive been waiting for your lightskin ass to get here" she said.

I roll my eyes and take a seat at my station. " you know your the same complexion as me right?" I told her.

She waved me off and smacked her gum. " so I was thinking after work we could go out for some drinks and just relax. What do you say?" She asked.
