4. Zane LIVES?!

~Zane's POV~

I chuckled quietly and rolled my eyes. Sixteen years and she still never fails to charm me. I climbed out of the boat and hopped onto the dock right in front of her. "Welcome back, Shorty. Obviously, this is Bird's Flame, my village. We've improved, and Tu'la hasn't dared touched us. We're the most popular village besides Scaleswind, and no Tu'la refugees have dared come to our doors." Raven explained. I nodded.
"Ever plan on telling your brothers that you're alive...?" She asked me. My eyes widened. "They'll kill me. They'll still think I'm evil after what happened, after Tu'la corrupted me and my father. I'm not that person anymore, thankfully." I sighed. She nodded in understanding. "Come on. I'll show you to the castle. That's where my guards and I stay." She said, waving at me to follow her. I nodded and walked after her nervously.

~(Y/n)'s POV~

Aphmau left with Garroth and Katelyn last week to find some information from Tu'la. They came back yesterday with Laurence, and they plan to leave again to find Hyria today and ask questions. Curious, you ask Aphmau if you could tag along, but she says otherwise. Understanding, you stayed back and trained with Dante.

"You're getting better," He laughs and you smile. "I hope! Otherwise this training is for nothing," You chuckled. He smiled and you continued. Alexis, a sweet guard you had come to like, yelled for you and Dante. You stopped training and tipped your head to the side, wondering what was going on.
Turns out, someone was at the gates with large, fearful eyes. Dante let him in quickly and asked him "What's wrong, Vylad?"

"It's Zane. He's alive. Get Aphmau. Now!"
