20. This Is It.

This is it. Its the end. Your journey has drawn near to an end and you aren't sure what to do.. but all is okay. You feel joyful and just want to live life with your lover. You love him... A lot. He won't get off your mind. His face always pierced your thoughts and you blushed everytime you thought of him. You just couldn't let go- he had you wrapped around his finger. It was clear he loved you back. He smiled at you brightly and he led you to the Irene statue, looming over Phoenix Drop. The sun was setting and he wrapped his arm around your shoulders. Your head was on his shoulder and you were.. peaceful. Ever since Laurence died you hadn't felt so protected. You love him- his embrace. His eyes. You loved him to death and you swore you'd never leave his side. He looked at you and smiled. You smile back tiredly.

Sadly.. your moment was brief.

Aphmau had come to get you and you looked at him once more. He smiled. You got up and walked with her. You stopped and turned around. He was gone. You walked behind Aphmau and followed her to the gate. He was waiting there. "Garroth!" You walked up to him. He hugged you. "We've come all this way.." he sighs. You smile. "I'm still glad you were there for me." You say. He laughs. "I always will be, (Y/n)." He replied. He let's go of the hug and he grins your shoulders. "Because I love you." He smiles, kissing you. Your eyes widen and you melt into it, gently kissing back. He pulls away and hugs you. "I'll never leave you alone. Now let's go end this war. Together." He grabs your hand and you walk off, fingers locked into eachother.

You loved him and he loved you. Garroth and (Y/n), inseparable even after all these years.

I do ship Garmau and all but I wanted a plot twist and Garroth was very close to the reader in the chapter Dead Silence.

But Garroth will be your lover in the next book <3
