Felicia’s POV

I was in a dazed as I headed to my class. I still can’t believe that he asked me for a date…well not exactly a date, but I really am glad that he would want to spend his time with me. I didn’t notice I was already in my class when I snapped out of it. I blinked, look around then shrugged. I then went to the seat next to Lorraine and Lilian, who were motioning me to head over.

“Hey guys,” I said smiling as I sat down.

Lilian smiled in greeting. “Fel, what took you so long?”

I smiled secretly. “Nothing really, we just talked.”

Lorraine looked at me closely and narrowed her eyes, while I sat there leaning my head away from her. Lilian then slapped the back of her head. “Give her some space.”

Lorraine grimaced slightly, then smiled sheepishly scratching her cheeks. “ Sorry Fel,”  then she grinned and continued, “But now I know what happened!”

Raising my eyebrow in an elegantly then tried to muster my most regal voice and spoke, “Lorraine dear, I think you have hit your head a little too much. Though I applaud you for able to form such a coherent thought. I must say Lilian how were you able to put up with her?”

Lilian snorted lightly then smiled, feigning resigned suffering. “I do not know. But I thank the God everyday for keeping me sane. Even with that she is my best friend…unfortunately.”

I nodded, feigning pity. “I see. I apologize.”

“HEY! I’m here you know.”

I looked at her eyes wide, as though I only noticed her now. “Oh! I’m sorry, I did not notice.”

“Really Fel, I think she had enough.” Lilian said looking both amused and sympathetic.

I shrugged then leaned back. Lorraine then grinned at me. “Skyler must have asked you something, something that made you damn happy…,” she mused then a glint shone in her eyes, “A date perhaps?”

I looked at her straight, trying to prevent myself from blushing. Which it seems I failed as a look of triumph cross her face. She then laughed. “Aw! Our Fel has a date with her crush!”

Lilian smiled ecstatic. “How sweet! I’m happy for you.”

I looked away embarrassed and stuttered. “T-Thanks I guess.”

“So when’s the date?” Lilian asked excitedly as Lorraine leaned forward, interested.

“Tomorrow, after school.”

“What are ya going to wear?”

I shrugged.

“Where is he going to take you?”

I shrugged again. “I don’t know. He did not say.”

“May be he’ll take you out for a romantic dinner, like what my boyfriend did.” Lilian said tapping her finger on her cheek, thoughtfully.

Lorraine nodded then tilted his head. “May be a trip to the beach, like what Blake did to me.”

I looked at them surprised, though I know I shouldn’t be. They were very attractive and beautiful.

Lilian chuckled as she saw my expression. “Surprised? Didn’t thought we have one?”

I nodded hesitantly. Lorraine smiled. “Can’t be helped, we only got to know each other just today. Anyway my boyfriend is Blake, Skyler’s brother.”
